Coryn, for sure. And Brooke. And Jaeda. High fashion and couture should be reserved for thin models. High fashion demands tall, skinny bitches. Deal with it. Give me a break! ANTM winners are NOT "High Fashion" or "Couture". Whitney would stand as much of a chance of getting cast in the top couture shows in Paris or Milan as Saleisha or Caridee or Nicole or Eva. Zero! Incidentally, that's the same chance that Roseanne Barr and Carol Channing and Harvey Feinstein would stand. Please get over the idea that this show is looking for a high-fashion model. The prize is a CoverGirl campaign and a Seventeen cover. A top, high-fashion model wouldn't even have the appropriate look for those jobs. But Whitney could... |

can't wait for Sugar's page long discussion if Whitney winsIf Whintey wins, Whitney wins. A perfect end to a shitty cycle. Whitney is as bland as they come. She's not model pretty and wouldn't be regardless of weight. End of discussion. As for who is best suited for CoverGirl, that girl is Fatima, hands down. The girl's face was made for a cosmetics campaign. There is no one this cycle that matches her beauty face wise. She's gorgeous, especially when she smiles. And I really don't get all the bad skin comments. Every photo I've seen of Fatima has been flawless, skin wise. I'll need some screengrabs as proof otherwise. Maybe it's clever editing, but they haven't focused on her "horrible skin" issue like they did with Yaya or Naima. Regardless, it won't be an issue as all the CoverGirl photos are airbrushed to hell. The only thing that concerns me about Fatima is that her body proportions are off. I think she has an extremely long torso which could be an issue for runway work. I'd be very happy with an Anya win. She has the best portfolio this cycle. Plus, she's energy and light. She seems like such a genuine and niec person. And why must any accent that isn't milquetoast be defined as "ghetto", "Puerto Rican", etc.? It's different and not your average accent. Get the fuck over it. Having an accent doesn't signify you're dumb. I also didn't detect any kind of negative Anya edit some posters have mentioned. I uninterpreted Anya aloofness as her rising above the drama the other girls were doing their best provoke. |

sugarhill look at Fatima's confessionals. She has pretty bad skin but it really isn't all that bad when she's in panel.

I agree Fatima was my #1 choice all season as a model, along with Kat...too bad she had such a shitty edit

Fatima missed a photo shoot. Talk about final 3 cannon fodder. The one good thing about her time on the show is her finally learning how to use a goddamn
razor.

I can just see Tyra saying in the finale, "Fatima, you got your virgina cut. Here, you win." |

I'm talking about the people who bitch that the fashion industry is biased against fat people (or "fat" people, like Whitney). Maybe it is, but so what? Nobody on ANTM has the measurements of a couture model, anyway, except maybe Fatima. |

^ lol when I googled Fatima to see if she really has bad skin, I got a picture of a vagina.

High fashion (haute couture) is CLEARLY biased against fat people and, most likely, should be. That market is about clothing as art, and pesky things like the model's flesh should not take away from the appreciation of the garment... Other segments of modelling, though, allow for a variety of types, including plus-sized. Since it's painfully clear that ANTM doesn't produce couture models, I just don't get the relevance of a discussion about what they do or don't look for in that milieu... |

I dunno, I think Anya is in fact very beautiful.
My main complaint with Fatima (besides the fact to me she's pretty meh), is that she is postively hopeless at posing. The gladiator shoot was shockingly incompetent, same with last night, did you catch her flailing jumps in the challenge, or the fact that she had her back to the camera half the time in the photoshoot. I thought her commercial was way overrated too, and helped a lot by the fact that everyone else save Kat was beyond pathetic. Here's another one who has made zero progress. It's not that she doesn't just take instructions, she just doesn't have a clue. |

It really doesn't matter what type of model wins ANTM. It's not like the previous winners have gone on to do anything important. The only times I see
their ads are in this forum. Whitney will win so that Tyra can give a long winded sanctimonious idealistic speech about plus-sized models changing the
industry. Whatever. I watch this show for the trainwrecks not the 'winners'.

I really doubt missing a photo shoot specifically timed to be inconvenient and designed for drama will hinder Fatima. Unless she gets burned before the shoot
there's no way to justify a Fatima loss at final three with a CoverGirl glamour shot. Her face was made for makeup. And her smile is luminous. No way
Whitney can realistically compete with her on that front. Anya does have a weird smile though so Whitney may be able to beat her at final three.
ETA: I thought her commercial was way overrated too, and helped a lot by the fact that everyone else save Kat was beyond pathetic.Kat's commercial was flat. The girl is beautiful, but she came off dull and sub par. I do agree that Fatima has a very awkward way about her. She's not natural when she moves. She's a bit jerky and spastic. But she has something that Whitney doesn't- a face that photographs beautifully despite her ineptitude.

Sugarrhill, Lisa got cut after taking the best CG shot of any of the girls (and one of the best overall in the last 5 cycles, at least). It is very possible
that Fatima could get cut, even assuming that she takes a fantastic beauty shot. You, out of anybody, should know this!

Whitney's gaping mouth doesn't bother me in any individual shot, but taken collectively, it's ABSURD that this girl can't seem to shut her damn
mouth. It's hilarious!

Drew B wrote: I agree. The only shot it ruined was the beauty shot. I think Whitney has a better face than Fatima. Whitney's a beautiful girl, not a model. Fatima
could use some fine tuning with her acne and her awkwardness. I think Anya is the best happy medium between the two.
