Actually, the only thing keeping me watching is seeing how they are going to solve this clusterfuck when all the tires are gone and the race isn't over.
I'm sure that's covered in the "rule book" they make up race-to-race.
Maybe they'll make the drivers have a sack race or a three legged race across the yard of bricks? |

Well, we just had some excitement up at the corner.
A few minutes ago, I smelled smoke. Then I heard fire sirens stopping very close by. I went out and checked. There was what appears to have been a small fire at the back of the apartment building across the street from the bar. I came back in when one of the fire engines drove off. My guess is it was probably a grill or a deck. That will probably be more interesting than any part of this shitty race. I am SO glad I didn't go to Indy. |

Ivy, I had a weird thing last nite. I was coming home, walking down the breezway, and all at once in my breezway (4 door, avarage size) I saw a ringneck snake, a huge orb spider had built a nest, and then a scorpion ran out from under the step. I'm almost positive this means someone was putting a pox on me right at that very moment. |

Downtown, I do too...I have a great piccie I took of one in the pet thread.
A ringneck snake is small and eats grubs and stuff. I was delivering him to the woods behind my apt when the scorpion appeared. It was so weird. I killed a scorpion in the house once, the ones here are tiny and just sting but they creep me the fuck out. |

I have a friend that lived in Sri Lanka for 6 months. there was this open area (from the roof) with just a grate over it - to act like a waterfall or
something when it rained (or some such bullshit). picture a sky light, but instead just an open metal grate instead of a solid piece of plastic. so just
imagine the kind of things this would let in. she dealt with monkeys, 7" black scorpions, a cute little flying frog, spiders and squirrels. INSIDE her
home. but the best pic I saw of what she had to deal with was the pic her oldest son took (he's 16) of 2 monkeys fucking right on top of that grate.
