When I was an rocket scienties at NASA, one of the nasty duties our department had was to go pull the tank out of the toilet that went boom on the earth during reentry . Then we had to figure out which damn tampon/condom/etc that it was and who to go "blame" it on and charge them the $45 for the repalcement tank. I think of that every time i see a toilet seat on a road/parking lot, etc. That was a particularly nasty job in the summer. It was in Texas and no a/c in that building where they put the full tanks. Then that black shit got all over the clothes, hands, etc. Fortunately I only had to do that every once in a while when the regular rocket scientist who had toilet tank duty was out. That plant now makes the space shuttles, rockets, etc.
