That really is bullshit that she got cut from the top 40. I don't see how anyone who made it to the end (while making a few brilliant moves on the way) not once, but twice is undeserving.

And had Candice not been stupid and decided to play Survivor: Adam Gentry, then Parv likely does worse anyways. She had no game other than flirting in CI, and how can anyone criticize Amanda for getting far for being hot when that's exactly what Parv did in CI (I'll give you credit for Micronesia, she played pretty well then). Amanda in China forms an alliance right away, built it up with Todd (and made all of the decisions with him), she blindsided James, she ensured all of the challenge threats would be gone by the end, leaving her to go on a challenge run at the end, and she probably would have won if she didn't completely implode.

In Micronesia, she forms a four person alliance (and let it be known, every person in that alliance was closer to her than anyone else), and then she got Cirie to join her, putting her in the majority. While she wasn't in on the Ozzy vote, her other relationships were strong enough so that she was never going to go anywhere. She got the idol at the F6, and we all know how well that worked out. She made friends and put them on the jury, she once again made sure all the challenge threats were gone towards the end, and, again, if she didn't break down towards the end, then she probably would have won.

The way I see it, Amanda was a great player, who could not pull through in the end, and that's why she lost.
