Say what you will, but it doesn't account for the red fabric that wasn't there during the episode. And I'm pretty sure this was pre-switch, so she
would still be on Nakum.

Was Chuay Ghan color orange or red? coz i remember it was orange but seeing shion's buffs, it is red. |

I've learned that the color of a buff simply does not translate well, whether it be in pictures or on tv.
Example: In Survivor: Marquesas, Jeff Probst clearly said that the Maraamu tribe wears yellow, but the buff itself is actually a slightly darker green than
Ogakor's. Thus, until I have that Micronesia buff in my hand, I won't be able to tell if it's an ugly color or not.

i don't think so Fiji merge buff has dark shade of purple.
this one is more like lilac color |

Fiji's was much darker than this. They don't usually go for a pastel shade, so this is kind of new, but orange versus purple has never really turned
out well.

What are you talking about? Fiji's buff has skulls all over.
This one has dolphins. It's totally different design. |

Fiji's buffs. The pattern on them is a little too chaotic for my taste. I sort of feel the same way about the Micronesia buffs, too.

IMO, it seems as though, ironically enough, the background color of the purple posts in this thread seems like the best representation.
I don't necessarily think the buff is ugly, but the dolphins are bulky and the background is way too busy. I'm disappointed with the color choices for this season...it could have been a lot more appropriate. I'm personally sick of seeing purple and orange together....especially with the screen captions. Purple and orange text should never be seen laid over shots of a sandy beach. Ever, ever, ever again. |

They could have done lighter shades of blue, brown, and green. It would have matched the logo better and would fit in well with the first Palau season.

IMO I wish they would've used a different color scheme... like purple/blue or something never done before.
I also wish they would've used a tiki type design on the Buff, rather the ugly looking fish thing... seriously, WTF is that??? |
