UPDATE!!!! WITH SOME OF MY ALL TIME FAVORITE SHOWS!!!





Everyone who watched Pirate Master can understand why Joe Don would be someone's favorite. He started out as the dictatorial villainous captain, and progressed into the underdog hero. He also had a wonderful mutually beneficial showmance with Nessa, many hilarious quotes and confessionals, and epic speeches that sounded like he was stoned along the way. Truly a great character.



The greatness of Paradise Hotel is impossible to explain. You just have to see it to believe it. It was full of narcissistic, evil, skanky people with tons of emotional baggage that far surpass any of the biggest trainwrecks to be on Big Brother, as well as the great Toni Ferrari of course. Charla was wonderful and quirky though.

She started out as the outsider and was left without a roommate at the first elimination ceremony. She would have been kicked off if not for the random new "You can never leave Paradise without a roommate!" rule. Still, she was forced to stay in the lonesome solo room all night. This drove her insane, and she ended up having a fight with her curtains. Yes, her curtains. I was in love.

The show progressed, and eventually people she could relate to joined her in Paradise, resulting in one of the most epic comebacks in reality tv history. With the help of HILARIOUS rule changing and rigging from the producers all in the name of trashy fun, good finally prevailed over evil. Out of her alliance of four, she and Keith won the money, but in a shocking twist, they were allowed to share half of it with their love partners who helped them get to that point. Keith shared his half with his lover, but Charla shunned her nerdy partner Dave and kept it all to herself even though she never would have won without him <33333



Toni and her roid ragin' eyes were the only good thing about Love Cruise. I don't really remember anything else.



Forever Eden was the Paradise Hotel spinoff that failed miserably. It got cancelled a few weeks into the adventure, but they finished filming anyway and sold it to Israeli TV and Fox Reality. You can see the whole season on youtube if you're ever insanely bored. Anyhoo, my original favorite was Mary, the naive and perky racist who asked the token black guy why the bottoms of his feet were pink. She was booted first though, so I had to find someone else. This took a while since it was a pretty loathsome cast, but Liz eventually won me over. She wasn't like the other retarded and hypocritical skanks on the show. She was actually smart and didn't want any part of the evil crowd. If the show managed to be a hit like Paradise Hotel, I'm sure they would have rigged it for her too. Here are some examples of her awesomeness.

The Real Gilligan's Island is another underrated show I caught years later. I had a hard time choosing a favorite since there were so many good characters in the first season, including Janet Koth's evil sex kitten daughter, and Rachel Hunter who actually turned out to be very likable and CPP. You can watch the whole series here. It's only a few episodes long, although some are a couple hours. I defo recommend it.

Anyway, the millionaires were very funny together and as individuals, and they actually seemed to have a normal functioning marriage. Considering the other millionaires were racist, homophobic, OTTN, evil (hilarious) snobs, it was very easy to root for them. They were also very conniving though. The husband tried to manipulate people more than anyone has ever done on Survivor, and they did eventually start voting people off, but it was still hilariously random. And his wife always ran around sealing the deals by playing into peoples emotions to make sure they did what they were supposed to. Truly a dynamic duo.




The second season wasn't nearly as good, although the only person I know who watched this (louie), would disagree. That has to do with the winner though. Everything else sucked, but I did like this guy. He was a Bostonian douchebag, but he played the game and made fun of pretty much everyone in his confessionals. I probably would hate him anywhere else, but he was the only thing keeping me entertained in this boring season. Oh his name was Gilligan Shawn btw. The chart says Gilligan Chris by mistake, which probably shows how much I like him.




MISTX was another great underrated show that I wish I could find somewhere so I could revisit it. Basically the contestants were put in a small fake town with over the top fake townspeople and they had to solve murders going on before they, themselves, were murdered. Kristen started out as the show's resident bitch...and no one every warmed up to her. She was shrill, overbearing, obnoxious, arrogant, condescending, and rude. She was sent out to die by her teammates in practically every episode, but kept surviving over and over. This was particularly amazing because the one who died out of the two sent on the mission was always pure luck, although there may have been some producer involvement there. Everyone on the show hated her, and it actually caused her to become somewhat likable thanks to the underdog factor. Unfortunately, she finally met her demise in the second to last episode, but came back to life to appear on season 3 of The Apprentice, where we found out she actually was just a horrible miserable human being.



I think everyone knows what the concept of Joe Schmo was. "The Hutch" played the part of the stereotypical reality tv asshole/villain, which provided many laffos. He was also put in the final 2 with the unsuspecting Schmo, Matt Kennedy Gould, and he amazingly pulled off a nailbiting "victory", much to the shock and awe of the Schmo. If only it were real
