What is so hard to understand here. Read the episode thread. It was agreed not to let out TARA2 race results on the board except in threads not hinting at the results in the titles. A team's name on the thread with Episode 5 mentioned tells people still trying to download the bts that they are still in the Race.

okay, then why mention the episode on the title at all? why can't it be a plain and simple HATE thread like the hundreds they have in the survivor forum??

Because when someone opened it not knowing what was going on they would discover what was going on. Can't you get it through your head there is a giant time lag between TARA2's broadcast and the majority of posters here who happen to be in North America? The ones following the show from the US/Canada have to wait for the bit torrents. An "episode 5" on a TARA2 thread topic warns them to stay away until they have viewed through the episode. We discussed this situation openly before Asia 2"s broadcast even began and came up with these ground rules from suggestions made then. It isn't perfect but it is helpful in general.

If there was a separate forum here for TAR Asia, it would be different. But there isn't. The TAR board here is an enclave on a Survivor giant board to start with. But not having a separate TAR Asia forum is good actually because it being mixed in with the original American version can get North American posters curious seeing all the threads and more are likely to be tempted to try to download the torrents and watch. That is how I got hooked anyway.

And keeping the two TARs together on the same board keeps them on an equal footing for discussion of past teams etc. That can't happen in the Survivor world of lots of franchises segregated off from the one in the US on separate forums. So as long as we can do it, it would be cool to keep the TAR World as one. I mean there is Brazil but the torrents for that dried up only a few episodes in as did any posts about that Race in the main. And not being in English to start with not many people outside Brazil followed it I'm afraid. But TAR Asia is not only the first but a major full blown franchise with production values the equal of original TAR and should be enjoyed as much by North American viewers as original TAR.

When TARA2 ends we will have a gap of maybe what. Two weeks tops and then all stops are off say. Because I realize we can't hid the winners forever. But last time there were a half dozen threads up within minutes of the Malaysia/Singapore time zone broadcast about Z/JJ winning which just spoiled it for everyone else including me. We want to try and avoid that this time around. Just make a huge WINNERS thread with no name on it and discuss away.

In other news, M/R still suck. The only positive thing I can say about them is that at least this forum isn't flooded with rabid nine year olds who "heart" M/R like they did Romber.
