I love all this discussion picking apart how badly Amanda screwed up. Amanda should have been actively thinking about how to handle people even while the game
was going on and finding out how they thought. It's apparent she didn't take the time to get to know everyone well enough. And then besides not owning
her moves and thus not garnering any respect, she had to contend with great jury performances from Courtney and Todd. Fantastic. She got what she deserved.

social game was much better than it really was. For instance, we were carefully shown in numerous episodes how she tried to "buddy up to" and comfort
whoever was on the chopping block, like the "good cop" to Todd's "bad cop." She always seemed to be sympathetic, apologetic and sad to
see the person go, but acted like her hands were tied because of her alliance's strategy. The PG boot episode where Amanda and PG "bonded" really
took this over the top.

'm still shocked. In 15 seasons I've never been more shocked about the winner than I am now. Amanda's edit the entire season just screamed winner IMO. Todd had the typical "plays too hard" edit à la StepheME, Boston Rob, Twila etcWyldawg, I thought the same thing. So many times I have been let down when someone like Amber or Brian wins. The editors actually made it look like Amanda had shown more sympathy, thus getting the votes, but it was refreshing and shocking to see the schemer win, the last time I felt like that was when Richard won. |

I agree with everyone, besides the crappy performance, I am happy PG called out Amanda's BS sad face
Also, we were deceived, we were shown Amanda as articulate, calm and friendly and we were shown Todd as scheming and right down antsy in confessionals. Complete opposite to what we saw at FTC. It was fun to watch. This whole beauty pageant and sales and marketing thing NEVER turns out. Danni sucked at her TC, Katie got creamed regardless of her backgrouns, Danielle sucked and now Amanda. Your profession really has NOTHING to do with how you deliver your words... |

going on. The truth we did not see. Example: When Amanda and Courtney agreed that Todd always "twists stuff" and gets away with it because nothing
seems to stick to him. I loved Courtney but she did not deserve more votes than Amanda. That was some fucked up shit.

is Todd a true BB2's Will clone?

Todd isn't half the manipulator Will was. The end games were kinda of the same: don't blame me for lying, blame yourself for falling for the lies.
The stuff Will accomplished goes beyond any moves Todd pulled in Survivor. You could argue that the typical BB mactor is about as sharp as a tennis ball though
thus making Will's job easier?
There is only one Dr. Evil and he rules the world.

Got to hand to the jury and MB. Least bitter jury ever, and a great editing job that completly fooled me along with pretty much everyone, especially compared
to the past few season's obvious winner.

I really liked Amanda throughout the whole show, but I cannot fucking stand people who just answer with "okay" when they are called out on something.
she blew it big time at the end because she just could not admit how much she lied. Pity, as she played a very good game.

Dude.... I think Todd is great and all, and an awesome winner, but let's not compare him to the strategic master of all reality shows, FTO. Dr. Will >>>>> all

Todd is cool, but Dr. Will will always be the most grandly devious reality show contestant of all time. And the most entertaining.
As for Amanda's jury performance, I think a major issue was that she spoke like she had the game in the bag. Smile, act fakely apologetic, remind everyone of what a nice person she was ... This kind of jury performance only works if you actually have the game in the bag, and Amanda did not. Todd and Courtney on the other hand spoke like they were going to fight and earn every jury vote, and the jury awarded that passion and competitiveness. |

and someone apologizing, they'll choose the former.

LOL@ they want to find out if you were lying. If you are sitting in the juror's box, there is a 100% chance you were lied to. Duh cubed

And the manner in which you own up to the fact of lying is important.
Todd is definitely worthy of being compared with Dr. Will, for the simple fact of owning up to lying (albeit at different points in the game) and managing to make people feel like they had to vote for him. It wasn't a landslide, but it didn't need to be. |

Amanda didn't even deserve the one vote she received...and the rationale behind it was one big logical fallacy that had my head spinning. Of course, said
vote giver was called out as a horrible Survivor player by the suddenly outspoken (Are You Anorexic? Do you have sex?) Probst.

I got the feeling that Erik's vote was a wink to Amanda, meaning should things not work out between me and Shiny Chin, let's you and me hit the
sack, ma'am.
