It wasn't amazing at all but neither was Todd's ass kissing. I thought for sure the jury wouldn't buy it.

Amanda looked the worst of all of them at the reunion. She went from HOT...HOT...HOT...to...meh. I still want to snuggle up to her ass 24/7, but Amanda, what
happened?

I think this is one of the few times where the jury performances definitely changed the outcome. Coming into it, Amanda should have won, but Todd and Courtney
both did better with the jury and that was Amanda's downfall.
(It also would have helped if she had handled the Denise situation better. She should have just been honest with her and said I'm voting for you tonight because I don't think I can beat you. Telling her that she wasn't going to vote for her and then doing it is stupid.... especially considering the fact that she had immunity at the time and hence wasn't in any danger of Denise voting against her.) |

I thought Amanda had it won, but taking Todd to the finals was pretty stupid. Had she taken Denise, she probably would have won easily, that would have made
her the smart player in the group. Her performance at the last tribal council was beyond pathetic to go along with it.

I'm still shocked. In 15 seasons I've never been more shocked about the winner than I am now. Amanda's edit the entire season just screamed winner
IMO. Todd had the typical "plays too hard" edit à la StepheME, Boston Rob, Twila etc.
I guess this was the first jury in the history of this game that wanted an evil schemer to win. Which is a good thing BTW, but I think they were more convinced by Todd's words than his actions. In any other season, I'm convinced Amanda would've slaughtered Todd in the jury votes and yes, even with the same jury performance. |

The jury wasn't that bitter... it definitely helped Todd big time.

Amanda's BIG problem was that she was really good one-on-one but horrible in a group. She was good one-on-one with Todd, PG and the AUDIENCE. But in the
group she always hid behind Todd's apron strings. She never showed her true self but only to a few select people. It was made clear TOO LITTLE TOO LATE
when she got to bond with PG last episode.

Can I just say that Courtney gave the best opening statement ever?
And Todd's response to Jean-Robert was brilliant. Amanda stunk it up at the final TC. She should have owned her game, instead of half-heartedly apologizing for it yet at the same time trying to take credit for how she played. It was just a mess. |

Kinda like Boston Rob in ASS. Anyways, Todd was still the better player. |

Amanda was way too conservative in her gameplay. I mean, she didn't even get PG's vote, which I thought was a sure thing.

Yeah, I was actually shocked to see a young RobC/JFP/Rafe type actually pull off the win. I was convinced it was impossible.
And the awesome other thing tonite? ZERO THREADS BITCHING ABOUT THE FINAL 3 |

Would Denise really have won had Amanda kept her to F3? She kept saying it... and so did Denise, but I have serious doubts. I think not getting rid of Todd was
her biggest downfall.

I agree, but at the same time I can't blame her. Jurors are usually extremelly bitter and the last thing they wanna hear is that you outplayed them fair and square. They want you to sugarcoat it, feel bad for what you did to them and make all your comments about them, not you. I think that's the angle Amanda was working on. But who could've guessed this was the first un-bitter jury that wanted brutal honesty. Would Denise really have won had Amanda kept her to F3? She kept saying it... and so did Denise, but I have serious doubts. I think not getting rid of Todd was her biggest downfall Notice when Denise said at the reunion that she would've been a shoe-in to win if she made it past the F4 all the jurors had an akward "ummmmmmmmmm......" kinda look

It's true. This was a (mostly) non-bitter jury that wanted to vote for the person who actually played the best game.
A refreshing change from previous seasons. |

WylDawg wrote: Not true, Wyl. Most juries want to feel like they are giving it to the best player out of the options before them. They don't want to feel like they
lost to someone more pathetic than them. Todd's honesty wasn't brutal; he managed to be honest while telling people what they wanted to hear (e.g.,
JR.) Amanda's performance was wishy washy.
