Michelle was stronger than Gillian, and yet Michelle was voted off first. Jacqui was stronger than Kelly, and yet Jacqui was voted off first. There are endless examples, due to the inherent flaws of the team system. The problem with this system is that it doesn't define "strong" "weak" "better" or "worse", it defines "luckiest" "unluckiest" "advantaged" and "disadvantaged". My system reflects a true survival atmosphere, allowing the participants to define what happens next. People compete fairly and socialize naturally, not artificially based on what "team" some unknown CBS employee decides to separate them into. |

You've got to let this baby roll to 100 pages.
It's so close. Can't turn back now. |

True, we need more pages here!

Is it a "completely different show" because the teams switched up at random times, by either picks or reaching into a bag and pulling out a rock? Is it a "completely different show" because tie-breakers are challenges instead of pulling out a purple rock? Is it a "completely different show" because there is a final 3 instead of a final 2, or 20 players instead of 16? Is it a "completely different show" because on some team challenges, the players compete individually until one winner remains? One last thing, dumbass: Most of the changes on the show are half-assed solutions by CBS to fix the inherent flaws of Survivor, because they don't have the balls to make a complete solution because they think it would alienate the bloated couch-whale who watches the show specifically to watch losers get lucky, and winners get unlucky (hi kitty wyde1!) My system is that complete and guaranteed solution. |

No, it doesn't, you are incorrect.

Well, Artiee, I am convinced! Your idea is spectacular and I can't wait another season for it to take place! You really need to call and write CBS for it
to happen, though. What good does it do just sitting on a message board? Take action! Call Mark Burnett! Call Jeff Probst! Maybe they'll even let you
host it once Jeff's contract is up, since it is, after all, your perfect idea.

ArtieeLange wrote: See, once again YOU'RE defining players as weak or strong, yet tell us that we can't. Furthermore, you're of the mindset that strength is the ONLY thing that matters in this game as you've proven time after time after time. Social game and strategy is just as important, and that's why Michelle was the first boot. That's why Jacquie was voted out. |

Oh, but Kitty, don't you realize that strength is what Survivor is all about and what it's always been about? It's not about making the best of
your situation even though you're in a minority (Vecepia, Amber, Danni). It's not about refining your team's teamwork and leadership and leading
them to a comback even after an early losing streak (Chuay Gahn, Casaya). It's about challenge domination. That's why players like Terry and Ozzy are
the best Survivors ever! Because they dominated challenges! Too bad they never won. Survivor allows people who aren't the best or the brightest to get
ahead through luck, social skills and plotting. That kind of thing NEVER happens in the real world. Artiee's system is perfect!

Artie:
In your system, can you sell a first round draft pick? (confession, I only read page one and page 98, and have no idea what this thread is about. I'm just honoring the bump requests.) |

ArtieeLange wrote: It is actually. I hate the f3, bloated casts and the HII especially equally as much as your system. This whole argument comes down to how we define what is luck. I find luck an inescapable fact of the game even with your system, and that it wouldn't make it any more entertaining. The only one who likes your system is you. |
