what if instead of putting 16 people on an island we put them in a house
and instead of voting each other out each person would choose which two people they want out of the game and then the public voted one of them out and instead of challenges for immunity there were challenges to determine whether the house would get a full shopping budget or other luxuries i think that would prevent weaklings from comprising the finals how about you |

So lets say a challenge has been played under your system. You end up being in the "losing" group for whatever reason. The only way to get to the
"winning" group at the next challenge is to win or at the very least place high enough to get there right? So you go back to the "loser"
campsite and ponder how the hell you are going to help yourself do that.
The "losing" group consists of Chet, Billy, Ozzie, Scout, Denise and yourself. You are pretty sure that you can beat Chet, Billy, Scout and Denise at the next challenge regardless of what type it is. Ozzie on the other hand can probably beat you in the next challenge regardless of what type it is. Hmmmm...what to do? What to do? You sure as shit don't want to evict someone you even think you can beat. You will evict Ozzie so you don't have to worry about him at future challenges. It raises the odds in your favor if he is out of the picture. You also know you don't even have to really convince the others to evict him because they also know he could probably beat them. Why would anyone in that group choose to NOT evict Ozzie? Now let's say that you are a member of that very same group under the current Survivor system of tribes and group challenges. Your tribe ends up losing the challenge. The only way to guarantee that you won't be evicted is to win the next challenge. You will evict anyone, but Ozzie as you desparately need him at future group challenges. It raises the odds in your favor if he is in the picture. Why would anyone in that group choose TO evict Ozzie? |
