So Artie wants to see the final group consist of players like Tom, Colby, Ozzy, Terry, all mega challenge whores. As much as I enjoy Ozzy/Tom, I can't handle the Colby/Terry's.

According to you the people that deserve to make it far only do so because of artificial challenges that are all designed to specifically help out certain player types each time. For example, balancing challenges automatically favor women because they are genetically better at balancing. And a challenge strictly physically based favors men because they are generally physically stronger than women. Mental challenges favor those that are educated and create a disadvantage for those that are uneducated, which might be because they couldn't afford an education, not because they chose to be stupid.

See Artie, with your system you favor people due to artificial situations. There are always things that are out of the players control that may mess up their game. Tiebreakers, the tribe they are placed on, etc. But the game is to roll with the punches and outwit/outplay/outlast everyone else in whatever way you can. If that means losing challenges and using strategy to save yourself, that is a winning method. If that means only winning challenges and being the last of a losing alliance, that is a winning method. They might not be agreeable methods of winning, but it gets the job done.

The game itself is a social experiment about how people will deal with the notion of being stranded in the wilderness and forced to survive on their own. Production steps in to evacuated when needed and give extra food or medical treatment like in Australia or Africa, but other than that it's up to the players to decide what happens. Your system throws out the entire concept behind the show and instead of focusing on the way people interact, you focus on their challenge abilities.

Your system would fail to the general public. Because once those challenge whores fucked up early on and messed up a mental challenge or some other challenge, the weak players, only weak according to you because you think challenge wins = strong, would pick him or her off.

And I'd also like to know what makes a weak player. Just because they can't hold onto a pole with a shit ton of weight on it, doesn't make them weak. The physically weak can compensate with mental strength that can help them survive, just as the physically strong can be eliminated because of their poor mental strength.

Strong vs weak is an artificial concept you are creating with your system. And according to your system, artificial systems fail, thus your system fails.
