It was actually my mother that said something about it during the season when she was made a comment about all the guys are getting voted out when they get to know Vee.

I had a early hunch towards the beginning with the way Vee along with Sean & Rob setup Hunter on Maraamu. Then as the season went along it was just pretty
much cemented when she ditched Rob, then suggled in with John and the Rotu 4, then let Sean fall at the FInal 5.

Denise has not been invisible the past 3 episodes. She was shown alot when she did the Kung Fu thing, then when she won the Family reward she was shown
alot...and tonight she was shown alot. I dont think Vee was ever shown that much

If you actually go back and watch, Vee along with a lot of other people in earlier seasons that were labled UTR, are shown a lot more then I thought so I was
pleasantly surprised.
I guess it's because we're so used to these bloated 18-20 cast seasons that back then UTR wasn't truly THAT UTR compared to the one's we're getting now. It's completely mind boggling. |

It's completely mind boggling.Considering CI and Fiji had characters booted who didn't even say five sentences their entire fucking time out there, it's not that surprising that earlier seasons' casts are more vocal in comparison. Vecepia was UTR, but surely she wasn't as bad as fucking Rebecca or Liliana. |

Amber and Nick too received more screen time than like half of Palau's cast.
Rebecca was actually featured a lot in the first four of five episodes. After that, though, she just...completely disappeared. |

I think Denise is one of those that is simply unable to comprehend the fact that there is a million dollars at stake here.
If I had a choice of eating a balut for a million dollars or giving up, I'd eat the damn thing, shit it out and serve it to Jeff as a blue plate special. She didn't even freaking try and that anorexic Courtney wolfed hers down. Even Heidik was able to eat a tarantula for his million dollar shot. Fourth place at least got her in every episode on the show so maybe that was her entire life's goal. What's that about $75,000? Probably 3 years worth of wages for Denise so what the hell. |

Or perhaps she knew, like Vee, that the leaderboard ahead of her needed some scrambling?
What better excuse to throw that challenge than the balut? Like Vee I think at that stage, Denise did not need to win this IC. |

Even all Vee haters know that Vee > Denise.
At least Vee took initiative to backstab Kathy. Denise couldn't even turn on Todd, when PG and Erik offered him on a plate. |

lol.. if Denise won, everyone at edgic would impale themselves on pitching forks.
(Well for that matter, if courtney won, they would do that too). ,.. |

But if Denise went along with PG and Erik, all she could hope for is a tie then they have to pick those rocks. There was no guarantee that Todd would have
gone. If Denise was smart, she could have got Amanda more paranoid about Todd and get him out instead of PG. But again, she wouldn't be able to win against
PG in the final TC. So Denise was screwed no matter what.
And Vecepia was more of a player than Denise. She wasn't afraid to turn on people and won immunity a couple times. |

I'm a little late to the party, but why exactly is 'Towery' needed in the title name? Are there any other Vecepias on this planet?

I need to rewatch Marquesas. I always thought Vee was a very undeserving winner. Maybe I was turned off from the beginning by all her religion talk that i just
started ignoring her altogether only to be surprised when she made F2.

Or perhaps she knew, like Vee, that the leaderboard ahead of her needed some scrambling?Denise has already proven that baluk and she just DO NOT MIX. She has never thrown a challenge yet, and her trouble with the baluk last time is probably what caused them to use that specific food this go-round. OTOH, Amanda should have thrown the challenge and let PG win; then she could have had a reason to dump Todd or at least stir things up because nobody would vote PG. |

Francois40 wrote: in hindsight probably a good idea that Amanda didn't throw the challenge. Todd threw out the possibility of voting Amanda out to denise and Courtney while at The Great Wall. If PG would have won the IC Todd might have persued voting Amanda out further making her very vulnerable. |

I was gonna reply immediately when I saw this but I figured I should check and I honestly thought I was gonna get to the end without somebody spotting this. It most certainly was Neleh that told Kathy her boob was hangin out. Vee then sacrificed Kathy by making a deal with Neleh after Kathy fell off. Vee is genius. She seriously was a mastermind and I give her so much credit. She seriously was not that under the radar. She had tons of confessionals about "No drama. I don't wanna get into the drama." stuff and that's exactly how she played it. She was the puppeteer of the season. Sure Kathy would have rightfully won for being a good player and a wonderful honest person at the same time, but Vee got her in the end, too. |
