I really hope if PG goes next the final 4 challenge is a muff diving contest so Denise can beat those punk kids.

If that's the contest, we know Todd is out...his allergies, you know.

Usually that last immunity challenge is a physical endurance that also requires a somewhat fit individual to last more than a few minutes (Katie anyone??).
What was Denise thinking to bank on winning the last immunity challenge? This move is ALMOST as dumb as James not using his idols (greedy fucker, had 2 and
failed to use one??!!)

Not really surprised too, Denise has been making wrong moves left and right in this game and the alliance she has is the only reason she's still there.

I don't think it was such a bad move... I highly doubt Peih-Gee and Erik would have taken Denise to the final 3.

To c-o-c: Maybe they thought Todd had a better chance of winning immunity? Neither Amanda nor Todd have consistently performed well in any of the challenges,
but Todd did come close to winning the most recent immunity challenge.
To TPP: I agree, I don't think Denise voting for Erik was such a bad move either. I still hate Denise for being an incompetent fat lard and not taking previous opportunities to switch, but when the game comes to 6 people remaining, it'd probably be better to go with the majority. When the # of castaways are odd, that should be the time when people (especially those in the bottom rung) should be looking to make power switches, not when it's even. I disagree however with Peih-Gee and Erik taking Denise... they probably would have taken her to the finals- it's a choice between her and Courtney, both of whom are equally useless in performance (although I'm still rooting for Courtney for her entertainment factor unless Peih-Gee manages to make 2 more immunity upsets). But like I said, Denise is the more likely candidate- wouldn't you take someone to the finals who's done nothing game-wise and who has backstabbed her previous alliance? |

Caryn was happy settling for the 6th place in a 6-person alliance, despite being given opportunities to flip and improve her position. I see Denise using the Caryn strategy of going along like a dumb, docile farm animal, only she surpasses Caryn by playing for 4th place instead of 6th. |

Stupid move. And a good example of an exception to the rule that you can't judge a book by its cover. Denise is as dumb as she looks.

Every one of you who talks about somebody "taking" Denise to the F3 is missing the point! There is no more "taking to the F3." Each person
earns his own way there, by not finishing absolute last in the F4 Endurance Challenge. Unless they're changing the game again, and what reason have we to
think that they would go back to the old way of doing things?
Targets don't matter now. Denise could be in the F4 with Courtney, PG and Erik and STILL not make it to the F3 because she comes last in the F4 Endurance. The reason Denise's move this week was stupid is that she has no safety net in terms of other people who could and would be booted at the F5 TC, should PG (the true outsider) have immunity. Are Todd, Courtney and Amanda going to boot one of themselves ahead of Denise? No way. Denise cut off the only way she had of ensuring herself safe passage to the F4, whereupon alliances don't matter anymore; it is simply a matter of not being last in the challenge. |

Well, Todd probably threatened to Denise that she would instantly lose the jury votes of him, Amanda, and Courtney if she betrayed them, meaning she'd have
to get at least 3 of the other 4 (2 of whom are Zhan Hu and would presumably vote for a ZH).
OTOH, going up against two ZHs, the ZH vote OR anti-Denise vote would probably split between PG and Erik, so maybe she WOULD squeak out 3 by default if it went 3-2-2. But, remember, Leslie said this was a game about "heart"...Denise is the last one left who is showing any "heart", and it might turn out to be her downfall (as this game is set up to do). |

I'm embarrassed for Denise, because it's like watching someone with Battered Woman's Syndrome. She's like the wife/girlfriend who remains
devoted to her man out of fear, no matter how many times he beats the shit out of her. It's appalling how obvious Amanda and Todd have made it that
she's being strung along just like Aaron, Jean-Robert, and James were, but she's still willing to accept the servile role they've assigned to her.
Choosing Todd and Amanda to go on the reward only confirmed that they are in charge and she's afraid to do anything to displease them. If I were Peih-Gee
or Erik, I would have threatened to use their jury votes to make sure Denise wouldn't win if she didn't wake up and stop being their bitch. If PG and
Erik told her they would vote unconditionally for Amanda or Todd, and make sure Jaime did as well, they could virtually guarantee Denise wouldn't win even
if she defied the odds and won immunity at F4, since she can't get there any other way. If they were going to force a tie, Courtney would probably have
been a better target than Todd, if the tie-breaker was the usual fire making contest. Erik probably could have beaten Courtney with ease, so there wouldn't
have been too much of a risk for Denise. And even if Courtney had managed to win somehow, Denise would probably have been no worse off. Amanda and Todd think
they're masterminds, and wouldn't have been stupid enough to vote out Denise over Peih-Gee just for the sake of petty vengeance. If I were Denise, I
would have forced the tie just so I wouldn't end up looking like a fool in front of the entire world. Even if it blew up in her face, at least she would
have showed she was willing to stand up for herself, and would have done something to make Survivor fans remember her.

I'm really disappointed that she did that. Why did she settle and admit that it was a HUGE mistake as she voted. Dear lord woman, wake up!

The F3 isn't just made up of the top three finishers in the endurance comp -- I have no idea where you came up with that. The only person safe at F4 is the person who wins immunity. Denise could come in second and still be voted out by the other three for being a Jury threat. |
