Great to see so many Swingtown fans! I thought I was alone.

Reminds me of that quote of I'd rather masturbate to the Osbourne dogs than any of the females in that family. That mother and daughter combination are
just super ugly.

I too have been a fan from the beginning and still am watching it. I just caught up with the last three episodes last night. I find the show really good.
It's more then just about swinging. But really about the way suburban married life was back in 1976. I love how the characters are slowly evolving and
growing. They also capture 1976 really well with the clothes, the sets, the music. It would be nice if one of the cable networks does pick it up. But if it
doesn't I'm enjoying every minute of each episode and dreading when the 13 episodes are over.

I just finished watching tonight's episode and I have an awful feeling that this show is definitely going to be canceled.
When they showed the previews for next week (season finale) They didn't say that they said "one more swing" and " the revealing final episode) Maybe I'm just reading into things...I certainly hope so! |

it seems to be set up for 'final' too. Everyone is either leaving town or separating. But I don't want it to end either! I was on the edge of my
seat last night. I was hoping Susan would have seen that briefcase sooner, and decided to run off with Roger. I wonder if he will take that job in Cinncinati
or just let Janet make the bucks as Dear Trudy. Bruce is a jerk and should run off with Melinda. And Tom and Trina's life as swingers will end now that she
is knocked up. Although I was hoping for an abortion storyline there, as in those times it was newly legal to do.

Yeah...it really sucks. I REALLY love this show. It reminded me of how crappy tv is. It's either all reality or cop/lawyer shows. I want the DRAMA!!
Oh well...At least the Shield and Prison Break start this week to keep my mind off of things. |

It did say SEASON Finale as opposed to Series Finale, but I am not very hopeful.

Along with just awesome actresses. And SS is right, it did say "Season Finale". I'm holding out a little hope. Fuck you CBS. |

They definitely said season finale, but agreeance that it felt like a series finales. You can't really blame CBS on the likely cancellation. The viewer
numbers just weren't there, altough the Friday ep got a bit of a bounce. I bet they figure out a way to shop it to a subnet, which I really hope happens.
No more nekkied Lani if she's knocked up, though. I still remains astounded that CBS of a all nets picked up a show like this instead on of the racier
nets.
I was kind of annoyed at the new ep. It seems like they're going out of their way to break up the existing nuclear families. Bruce bailing out to go see the little jezebel was particuarly stupid. But if everyone winds up with their current crushes maybe everybody will happier. Imagine that, all the people who started out in traditional marriages catting around, while the Dekkers suddenly find themselves in domestic bliss. That'll be fun to watch. |

It has been great series. Janet's boss is an interesting addition and if the series lives on he could become a pivotal character. Her reaction to her sons drinking was so different than I thought it would be. Softer and more nurturing. I haven't cared too much for the younger kids storyline until the last few weeks. Loved the CB's and the kid's handles. |

Miriam Shor and Lana Parilla have really shone throughout this series turning what could be such one note characters into sympathetic, interesting and
multi-dimensional ones. They have been true revelations of this entire series. If this show doesn't get picked up, I'd love to see these two show up on
another series. I never saw "24" which I know Parilla was a cast member of.
Sunshine or the others who were interested, did you ever get to see "Tales of the City"? |

Seaguy, the first disc for "Tales Of The City'" should arrive the end of this week if Tropical Storm/Hurricane Hanna doesn't interfere.
Had to wait for my neighbor to finish the DVD she wanted to see. I can't wait to watch Tales. It could well be a wonderful 6 hr marathon video day. Do you
recommend "Further Tales of the City" and "More Tales of the City" as well?
