9:00am at the IMAX yesterday - awesome movie. The 2.5 hours actually sped by. Ledger was a superb Joker which surpassed by far what I had expected.
Originally, I found it odd that all trailers and commercials that had anything to do with TDK all focused on the Joker rather than Batman. Now I know why.
Bale is good, in fact, I think he's been the best Batman. He has the suave good looks for a millionaire playboy and the physical build for Batman. Maggie
G was horrible as Rachel but then I'm prejudiced because I don't care for her in the least. The Harvey Dent fundraiser scene when the Joker asked who
the beauty was made me want to gag. Maggie G is not good looking. She just didn't fit the part.

I haven't seen Newsies but love the newsboy look. The brief glimpses I've seen of The Machinist look intense. Bale lost 40 some odd pounds for that role. |

I think it would be cool if Nolan made a film version of Tower of Babel.It wouldn't be in the actual continuity,but its very dark.

I almost want Nolan to quit while he's ahead...no villain will be close to Ledger's Joker....however, since you know there'll be another, I'd
put catwoman in there and also have Two face (not sure while people are debating if he's dead- watch the movie again...his breathing is so obvious that
they had to have seen it and intentionally left it that way; he's alive..his whole f'ing chest is heaving like he just orgammed)...
what's everyone's thoughts on Robin?....part of me would be happy to leave him out but he's such an important part of the Batman mythology and I'd be curious as to Nolan's take on him... |

He was the LEAD in Newsies. It's even more hilarious now that he's super famous as Batman. He looks like such a manchild in it. <3
 
Before I would picture his American Psycho character singing and dancing about seizing the day, which was pretty fun too. Also, Nolan pretty much said the same thing about Catwoman that he said about Penguin so I don't know why everyone's hoping for her.

I actually first remembered him for Empire of the Sun. Incredible movie and incredible performance from him and Malkovich. Can't get a better acting debut
than that.

I was going for a younger, nerdy, techish Riddler, maybe Elijah Wood would be better.
However, Sinese will be good for a relentless business man type of Riddler. |
