The producers didn't care then, that's why I'm still holding out for a final 2 this season.

Now though, it's kind of a bad gimmick. I really want CBS to fix this, by giving them the final two again. It was more drama that way, and also a more clear winner that way.

Too many deserving winners have been screwed at the F3. Lex, though a douche, should have won. Kathy should have won. Rob C. should have won. JFP should have won. Since the F2 has been tossed, there haven't been any Vee/Danni wins, which is all I can hope for as a viewer. It's much harder to win as an UTR against two, and I don't find UTR that respectable or entertaining. I don't know. I think the F2 should come back as an exception, not the rule, like Micronesia. But i would like them to have a suprise double boot at the final five or final four, then make it a final two. It would mess up people plans, and have the bouble boot like Jenny's and make them vote someone else out right away.

Well, it is obvious that the production team planned on a final three for Micronesia, but because of the three double boot cycles due to injuries and a quit, there was only room for a final 2. They could have done what they did at the China finale(or the Panama one), but an extraneous reward challenge on the finale just doesn't make sense. Conerning the problems with the show, I believe that the time has come to draw a line. You have to choose, do you want the show to be centered around the castaways "story", or around a dynamic game? For an interesting season, you need both, but the editing has to favor one or the other. The final 3 was designed to make the final Council more competitive, and after some thought I think in theory that it does. I don't care, though. I want the best player to come out naturally. Before the final 3 started on season 13, Cirie had introdced a concept that eliminated the "goat" strategy as the be all, end all of strategy.

Well first off none of those people won, so you certainly can't call them winners. Second, if you put yourself in a position to not win that last challenge or be taken to F2, you don't deserve to make it to F2. Either win the challenge, or set up your game so you'll make F2 no matter what. Thats what good winners like Hatch and Tina did. Those people you named didn't deserve to win. They didn't play good enough to win.
