Definitely, in a heartbeat! No hesitation at all... and we would be brushing up on map reading, and driving skills :-PThat's good to here, since that was your only flaw as a team (that and team relations, since improving that might have helped you avoid a yeild).
Now that the race is over, I guess you can legally answer some obvious questions people have, like how far behind were you and Ann behind the other teams in South Africa? Would you have been eliminated had you arrived at the gate before it opened? What happened after you were eliminated (which, by the way, was so disspointing, since I would have loved to see you and Ann handle those vehicles on the sand).
And someone did ask this, but how do you think you would have fared at the final roadblock?
Lastly, how far were the 2nd (P+V) and 3rd teams (M+R) from each other? Did they take a long time after Adrian and Collin?
And how can you say you and Ann are a non-good looking team? There's a reason why people here thought you were mactors, and why you were called the yummy mummies (of course, that isn't why we liked you, or Pam and Van, or Collin and Adrian, no matter how cute I thought those two were).
Sorry for all the questions...
And, once again, congradulations on making it 12 legs (and only getting last once). That's longer than this year's American version was.
Oh, and to whoever said that it was too early to talk all-stars, of course it is, but it's nice to establish now what teams we want if they do have one (it's part of the fantasy).
We were about 20 minutes behind the last team to check it for the final 3 spot. I would like to think that we wouldn't have been eliminated if we arrived before the gates opened. I would have loved to have been on the quad bikes. I was nearly in +!%** watching Ann in the car on the race track as I love fast cars and that has always been my dream, to drive a race car. I would have raced like crazy. I love manual cars and I think auto cars are boring.....
I think I would have been ok on final roadblock. As one of my friend put it, "Diane is into that "s**t and remembers those kind of weird stuff". Playing the playstation and Wii with son helps as often you have flags of countries on the games. And I love watching the Olympics, rugby and football where you get to see different countries' flags.
2nd and 3rd team were quite away from Adrian and Colin. We waited for quite a while for them.
And finally, thank you for your sweet words!!
