Just because I'm bored... Here's a team-by-team evaluation on all 10 teams from Leg 1.

01 - Vanessa & Pamela
Wow. These girls were freaking amazing. They got their taxis first, got to Mount Faber first. Reached the CCP Complex first. Reached the Plaza Miranda first. Completed the Balut-eating first and even reached the pit-stop first. I mean... even Debbie & Bianca in TAR7 didn't dominate this much in their first leg. (I think. lol) And they seem to be pretty interesting as well. Hoping these girls go far. Then again, I'm hoping for so many teams to go far.

02 - Marc & Rovilson
Sigh. I don' t know what to say about them. Like what one of the posters said... They're like BJ & Tyler. They're trying waay too hard to impress viewers with their "comedy". I mean, sure. These guys are funny and kinda "lovable", if you ask me (they got the looks, unlike BJ & Tyler). But certain of their "jokes" were so fucking scripted. Nonetheless, they're great racers though. And if these guys can tone their stupid need to be popular around Asia (yes, to boost their careers), I wouldn't mind them.

03 - Ann & Dianne
I liked this team a lot. Hahas, the dancing mums! They were quite surprising this leg actually. They did quite well! And Ann provided a few bits and pieces of entertainment with her constant calmness, her singing at the Suntec challenge and stuff. Loved that she used some sort of a blanket to cover herself from the rain when they had to get their clue from the CCP Complex and then when they got it, she said, "Okay. Now, we disappear" like some magician or something. Didn't really see much of Dianne though. Oh, and their names rhyme! Anyway, these guys were great and I'm glad they're not Gina & Sylvia (TAR3) V2.0.

04 - Brett & Kinar
This has gotta be the eye-candy team of the season. Haha. Kinar is so beautiful while Brett is pretty good-looking himself. So far, I like this team as well because well, I dunno. Kinar seems very expressive and quite entertaining so far. Love her Indonesian accent as well. ^^ And the explanation of what a balut was priceless. "It gives you a sex drive" , "Oh, like lamb?" , "Yeah. Lamb."

05 - Sophie & Aurelia
One of my faves, I guess? Hehe. Sophie is a Singaporean, so I'll root for her naturally. Aurelia has such a cute French accent and so I'll also root for her. Haha. This team has a good dynamic I guess. Looks like Sophie and Aurelia's individual personalities are a DIRECT-clash. She thinks Aurelia is too chatty~! "I've never seen someone who can chew, swallow and talk at the same time" , "I hope at the end, she will be so knackered that she'll stop talking. It'll make my life a whole lot easier" Priceless. Somehow, I think we're going to see much more bitching and arguing amongst these 2. They seem pretty competitive as well. Well, at least Sophie is. And good job, Aurelia for not knowing what an embryo is.

06 - Paula & Natasha
Another eye-candy team. Hehe. So far, I don't have much to say for them because I don't think they showed them that much in Leg 1 but they're cute and well, GO THAILAND!

07 - Adrian & Collin
Yay, Team Singapore. Duh, I'd root for them. Well, Adrian is deaf and I really admire his spirit for doing the race and living such a fulfilling live. Collin is such an awesome friend as well. And these guys are really competitive and I like that about them. ^^ Kinda pissed when they were one of the two teams to have taxi troubles in Manila. That dropped them to 7th. Well, these guys should be able to do well in most parts of the race. Hope they make it to the Final 3! Jia yous! (chinese for add oil more accurate translation: do better next time!)

08 - Daichi & Sawaka
Loved this team pre-race and liking them a lot after Leg 1. Daichi is kinda quiet but his Detour was HILARIOUS. He totally closed his eyes. Sawaka is a good singer also. They seem to be pretty bad racers though, unfortunately. And I predict they won't last that many episodes. But I'll be rooting for them to succeed till then.

09 - Henry & Terri
Lol! Terri is I.N.T.E.N.S.E. That girl needs a chill pill. Oh wait. Don't give her that. Then we won't have any entertainment from her blow-ups. But seriously... I think she needs to calm down a little. She's like shouting 95% of the time she's on-screen. It's hilarious but sometimes kinda painful to watch. "WE'VE BEEN HERE!" And poor, Henry! ex-US Navy Officer and look what happens at home... Anyway, hopefully they aren't going to be this bad in the race since I'm rooting for them both because of entertainment value and also because they're the old couple.

10 - Monica & Edwin
Edwin is a whiny bitch. Yes, Edwin. Zzz. "I think we'll be better than Rob & Amber". My foot. "I can't go anymore. I'm tired" , "Oh my god, you can't hold on to anything. You suck" , "PUT THAT BACK. I'VE GOT ONE". Die, bitch. Anyway, Monica is okay, especially after she screams at the top of her voice inside the Suntec building. Obviously she doesn't know the mechanics of sound. Loved her shampoo comment as well. Hopefully they get philiminated next week.
