Doc, that picture you posted is lovely. It's sad to read this thread, but it's nice to see that so many people loved her. I see posters in this thread that I had no idea even knew Vicki, and it makes me happy to know that so many people appreciated her.

I have read over all the post and tried to let this sink in, but it is still so shocking. Ever since Felicia sent out the email letting STH friends know, I have been speechless.

Vicki was so kind to everyone..I was amazed at the way she would handle herself in difficult situations on the boards. Where someone else would get so pissed and go off on someone..Vicki wouldn't. Her life was complicated, but yet she had a sense of simplicity too that I wished I had.

It is amazing sometimes how someone you have never met, can touch your heart in such a big way. We lost a friend, but God gained an angel. An angel that I tend to think is gonna still watch over everyone here on the boards she met and those in her everyday life as well.

Godspeed my friend.

Back during the days of Pearl Islands, there was a huge Rupert backlash, so I ended up taking on all the bashers. STH always backed me up. She was one of the first people to acknowledge me, welcome me and show me kindness. My heart goes out to all the people who knew her better and to her family. She was a true class act.

This hurts. She was such a bright shining emblem of good postership and her good humanity had shown through in her every posts, that I will deeply miss her posts. There was never a post she wrote that felt fake Save the Humans wore her heart on her sleeve and always brought truth and honest feelings to this board. A good one was snatched from us. She will be Heaven's message board maven I bet.

Oh, my gosh. I only just found out via this thread.
I'm sad, mostly because work and school had kept me away from these forums so long...and I didn't get a chance to talk to her much this past year, and I never got a chance to say goodbye

I was just thinknig about her because I came across the card she sent me for my birthday last year, and I will cherish the bookmark that she made for me forever.

Well, at least you can read the reviews, Cindi, and decide whether it's worth renting the DVD come spring!

It's rare for any movie or TV show to live up to its hype. So I'm not expecting it of this one, either. I'm likeliest to go see it--if I do--once it reaches the dollar theaters. It's hard to afford ticket and popcorn at a regular theater any more. And I don't do theater movies if I can't have popcorn!

She never got to see Cloverfield.
