Please be as detailed as you can, wherever possible. I had to read this episode quick so I hope I give good/accurate comments. I love Kathy now. I hate Mikey B. I was sad to see Natalie go because she was just starting to stand-out (very similar to Erik). Wow, that was a lot of strategy this episode. Everyone was telling on everyone and flip flopping to different alliance. It was somewhat hard to keep track of, but I was able to stick with it (I think). The Fans are beginning to outshine the Faves by a lot. I know that it may be becuase they are going to TC, but I just feel like the last to episodes were the Fan's episode with the Faves just shown becuase they were there. I didn't think it would happen, but I enjoy the Fans scenes way more then the Faves scenes. (B) What was your overall favorite part of the episode? My favorite part of the episode would have to be Kathy. I felt like her scene in the beginning was really cool and good for her character building. She is becoming the most interesting character and I hope she's not leaving soon (although my gut tells me she is going to leave soon). You almost had me thinking she was going to go, but then I remembered that her and Tracy were friends and that Tracy would probably give her the Immunity-Idol chain. (C) What would you rate this episode out of 10? I'd see her flipping on Sherea first. -So who's going home from Airai since they lost... Mikey has been shown as the target, but Kathy could end up somehow going home as well, I'm guessing Kathy for now. -Wow, this is going to be a crazy TC, with Tracy, Mikey, Alexis, and Natalie all targets. It wouldn't surprise me to see a plurality majority again, I'd say Tracy is going home, but I'm not too confident in that -" <The camera shows a close-up view of a male castaway's hand, as she reaches into a bag and pulls out a purple Malakal buff>", obviously a mistake in the promo. I appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts, and I enjoyed reading what you had to say, as always! :) I enjoyed the complexity, great episode, very unpredictable. I'm glad you enjoyed the unpredictability and complexity. Some episodes will probably be more predictable, so it's good to have some surprises once in a while. Kathy was supposed to be somewhat of a decoy boot during the first part of the episode. I did put that scene in there so she seemed like a more likely boot target, but you're right with the "nature appreciation" usually being a kiss of death. I used that idea with Ashley last season in China when she was voted out. Natalie approaching T/K, post IC scramble. Thanks. I also liked the way that Natalie approached T/K and I think it would be interesting to see that on the show. Also glad to see you liked the post-IC part. Next week's is going to be another good one, especially with the tribe switch! 9.8 Thanks for the 9.8! I notice that you always rate the episodes pretty high, and I appreciate that. It's nice to see especially when there's an episode that might be a little lower... :) Are Earl/Ian more loyal to Terry/Aras or Brooke? Great question. Earl and Ian are definitely more loyal to Brooke. They only went to Terry/Aras because that was the only other option (the only other non-women in the tribe), and they were closest to Brooke out of all the women so they knew she was their best swing. If this group was the Final Five, Ian and Earl would bring Brooke to the Final Three. Thanks for your Episode 5 predictions, and for filling out the Popularity Poll! Great to see a lot of 10s in there. That will definitely help your favorites out. :) EXCELLENT job on your Edgic ratings. Terry and Sherea (that would be funny) That would be funny, but one of them would have to pick the other person and that would be fairly unlikely. Kathy - 10 (My favorite character now) She is definitely fun to write for. Ruth Marie - 6 (I want to like her, but she doesn't have much substance) I think she was a lot better in Exile Island, but the combination of these episodes being a lot shorter, starting with 20 people this season, and the story not revolving around her has made her not be shown as much, unfortunately. Sherea - 9 (although I don't agree with her wanting to throw the challenge, she is interesting) I'm glad she became a bit more interesting again. I know she was a little dull the last 2 episodes. AWESOME job on your Edgic ratings. They're all extremely close or exactly what I was expecting (even though I wasn't quite sure on some of them). Interestingly, I noticed that his ratings are the opposite of Brooke's. They both alternate MOR/CP (or CP/MOR) in all four episodes. Hmm... 3. Tracy (She could be becoming a decoy winner, but she's getting so CPish and shown as the smart more silent leader) As someone pointed out (I think island sun), most of her content was stuff that pretty much had to be shown for the story, so that might explain why she's been so CP early on as well. All of your Edgic lists look very good as well! :) -Jason (Still looks like a distraction, though he got a bit of a cooldown this episode) Just a quick note about Jason to consider: like Tracy, most of the time he was shown was because he had to be, so maybe he's not as much of a distraction as it seems?? I can promise lots more to come. I'm happy that I was able to show more of Sherea too. The switch does work well at Episode 5 - it will be different in this version though since the tribes aren't even like they were on the real show. I usually don't like to have one tribe losing all the time, but I think it works okay sometimes. -->Sherea throwing the challenge and Malakal still beating Airai. Experience clearly pays off. Yes, but if not for Kathy's meltdown or panic attack, Airai probably would have won. Both Sherea and Kathy lost a lot of time for their tribes though. -->9/10 Thank you for rating it a 9. I appreciate that, and the episode is right where i expected it to be overall. No Exile Island this episode I do have Exile Island even though there's a switch. I didn't know they would get rid of it for this episode on the real show, and this way it's more of a disadvantage for the people that go because they lose out on 2 days of getting to know their new tribes. Or are they the pickers? Earl and Kathy are not the two tribe selectors, although a few people have mentioned that idea, and I think it's really good and I wish I did it like that. It's more of a random tribe switch, but since I had control of the outcome, you can be pretty sure that Earl and Kathy "randomly" end up on opposite tribes. I don't mind giving that away.
