Airai Tribe ("Fans") - Night 9

<'Spooky Night' plays, as the infrared camera shows a close-up view of the full moon, and then fades out to show the Airai tribe's flag. The eight remaining Fans are then shown returning back to camp, as indistinct conversation can be heard. The infrared camera shows Jason setting his torch down, and then switches angles to show Alexis and Mikey talking>

Alexis: Okay, what the hell?! <Mary is now shown, as she says "That was so crazy"> I'm, like, so confused! <The infrared camera zooms in on Mikey>

Mikey: Well, basically, we decided to vote for Tracy incase Jason had the idol; <A clip of Tracy hanging the Immunity necklace from her torch is now shown> then Jason gave Tracy his Immunity, <Natalie says "Oh"> and I voted for Jason when I really should have voted Kathy…

Natalie: <to Mikey> Well, how 'bout clueing us in next time? <Another view of Mikey is shown>

Mikey: I didn't even know the whole plan, you know? <Natalie is then shown tensing her expression> Why do you think I didn't vote Kathy?! I was never told, okay? <pause> I'm not that much of a friggin' idiot… <laughs> <The infrared camera focuses back in on Natalie>

Natalie: <to Mikey> To me, it's obvious. <Natalie now shrugs dramatically> Kathy's the next choice after Tracy. <The camera switches angles to show a clip of Kathy and Tracy>

Tracy: <to Kathy> Well, <long pause> lucky us. One more night… <The infrared camera then cuts back to Mary, Natalie, Alexis, and Mikey, who are talking by the shelter>

Natalie: <to Mikey> Like, if y'all had this plan that didn't include us, <A frustrated Mikey now shakes his head> I don't know why you would have voted for Jason. <The camera shows Jason sitting alone by the fire> I don't get that, but <long pause> I don't even want you to give me an answer… <The infrared camera focuses back in on Mikey, who looks agitated>

Mikey - CONFESSIONAL: Erik got voted off at Tribal; <short pause> didn't see that one coming. <Natalie is shown again, as she says "I'm miffed about it"> Yeah, I'm the fool that voted Jason when I should have changed my vote to Kathy, and doesn't it feel good?! <Mikey is shown shaking his head> I'm seething right now. Ugh… <A prominent sound is heard, as the infrared camera shows a view of the night sky, and then fades out to show Mikey and Joel>

Mikey: <to Joel> We need to start going into Tribal Council with a back-up, <A stern-looking Joel is shown> and then I guess, you know, we need a back-up plan after that! <Joel nods>

Joel: <to Mikey> Oh, I agree with you, <long pause> and I'm gonna be thinking a lot about the dynamics of the game because I think we just burnt two or three bridges… <Another close-up view of Mikey is shown, as he subtly nods his head>

Mikey: I think we burnt a lot more than that. <A clip of Natalie is shown> Natalie was pissed…

Joel: <to Mikey> Well, because they feel left out… <Mikey is then shown looking up>

Mikey: I feel left out! <An expressionless Joel is shown> All I had to do was write Kathy's name down and she'd be gone! <The infrared camera now focuses in on Kathy>

Mikey - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> The person I blame would be Jason, <A prominent sound is heard, as the camera shows Jason tending to the fire> because if Jason didn't give his Immunity to Tracy, the vote tonight would have been a hell of a lot different… <The infrared camera now cuts ahead to show Mikey confronting Jason>

Mikey: <to Jason> Why would you protect her? <The infrared camera zooms in on Jason>

Jason: <to Mikey> She's not who we needed to get rid of… <An unconvinced Mikey is shown>

Mikey: Well, that strategy was crap! <The camera continues to show Mikey> And maybe us voting you, you know, maybe it was a bad move, but voting Erik?! I mean… <Mikey's voice trails off, as the infrared camera focuses back in on an expressionless Jason>

Jason - CONFESSIONAL: Tonight at Tribal Council, myself, Kathy, and Tracy went in with a plan to blindside Erik. <A frustrated Mikey is shown, as he lets out a groan of anger> You know, I really wanted to beat Erik out in the game, make it farther than him, and <pause> the plan worked… <A prominent sound is heard, as the infrared camera cuts back to Mikey and Joel, who are now talking with Jason on the beach>

Mikey: That can not happen again! <Joel is then shown again, as he says "No">

Joel: <to Jason> And don't think that you're automatically the next one out of here… <A close-up view of a thoughtful-looking Jason is shown, as he replies "Okay">

Jason - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> Right now, my alliance is to Tracy and to Kathy. <A clip of Kathy sitting by the fire is shown> I didn't come into this game anticipating that would be my alliance, but they really saved my skin tonight. <A wide view of several other Airai members is then shown> Everybody else, I'm gonna have to forgive them, you know, <Mikey is shown again> and hopefully try to become a team again… <The camera goes back to Jason>

Jason: Let's leave Tribal Council at Tribal Council… <A prominent drumbeat is heard, as the camera shows a view of several Airai members, and the screen fades out>

Airai Tribe ("Fans") - Day 10

<'Goofy Boys' plays, as the camera shows a close-up view of the moon, and then fades into a view of the sun, as clouds rapidly shift around it. A prominent drumbeat is then heard, as the camera cuts ahead to show the Airai tribe's flag. A wide view of the tribe's shelter is shown, as Alexis can be seen climbing out of it and walking over to several tribemates by the fire>

Alexis: You guys, where's Kathy? <The camera switches angles to show Tracy again>

Tracy: She just took off; <Jason is now shown tending to the fire> she was up before the sun even came up… <A comical music begins to play, as the camera shows an overhead view of the Airai tribe's island, and then scrolls over the dense jungle, before fading out to show a clip of Kathy walking along a jungle path with the machete>

Kathy - CONFESSIONAL: I'm up early; "early bird gets the worm girl." <laughs> You know, once you have a child, that does it to you. <The camera now shows a front view of Kathy, as she continues walking through the jungle> I mean, that changes everything, so <long pause> I usually come out and watch the sun, and I'm from Wisconsin and here I am on an island in Micronesia, <A front view of Kathy walking along the path is shown> so <long pause> it's kindof a bit of a culture shock for me. <The camera returns to the other castaways at camp>

Joel: Where the [censored] does she go every morning that's so important?! <The camera scrolls over to Jason, Alexis, and Natalie>

Jason: And the one thing that really rubs me the wrong way is she takes the machete… <A close-up view of Natalie is then shown, as she glares into the distance>

Natalie: I mean, how do you do that? How do you just take off when we can't even open up a coconut? <A prominent sound is heard, as the camera shows Kathy walking along the beach>

Kathy - CONFESSIONAL: So I'm walking along and I tell you, I saw at least three sea snakes today; <short pause> the venomous black-and-white banded ones. <A faraway view of a sea snake slithering along the beach is shown, before the camera goes back to Kathy> I don't know if they're all venomous; <Kathy can be heard saying "I see him"> these ones are venomous, and <pause> those bastards move pretty damn fast… <laughs> <Kathy is shown>

Kathy: He's still right there… <Another view of Kathy is shown, as she points to the snake>

Kathy - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> You know, today is the first day that I felt kindof okay with them. <Kathy is now shown again, as she watches the sea snake> Any other day, I'd be like runnin' up the nearest tree as soon as I saw one. Today I'm just like, ah… <She shrugs>

Kathy: <to camera> Give them at least a couple feet and I am good! <The camera continues to focus on Kathy for a few seconds>

Kathy - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> Oh, and I think I'm starting to get an eye for crab movement. <A clip of a crab scurrying along the beach is shown> You know, I can spot them things just scurrying around. <Kathy is then shown pointing to the crab> Either that, or I'm just hallucinating cause I haven't had a cigarette in over ten days… <Another prominent drumbeat is heard, as the camera shows the clouds shifting behind the Airai tribe's flag, and then cuts back to the castaways, who are impatiently sitting around the fire>

Alexis: I wonder where she is. <Tracy can then be heard saying "I think she goes exploring">

Jason: I think Kathy deserted us… <The camera now shows a close-up view of Mikey>

Mikey: Yeah, I don't think she's comin' back… <laughs> <A fast-forwarded view of the sky is shown, before the camera shows the tide washing up onto shore and then receding again. Kathy is then shown continuing to walk along the beach>

Kathy - CONFESSIONAL: So what else? And then I'm thinking about my strategy for the day. You know, what am I going to do to ensure I remain a member of Airai? <A close-up view of Kathy is shown, as the camera focuses on her for a few seconds> I already had a little taste of what being voted out might taste like, and I didn't like it. <laughs> <Kathy can now be seen walking back to camp> So I hope I'm not in my own little world, and I'll just go back to camp and everybody'll wake up in a good mood. <Mikey is now shown yawning, before the camera scrolls over to Natalie> Yeah, like that's gonna happen… <A comical sound is heard, as the camera cuts ahead to show Kathy returning back to camp>

Alexis: Here comes Kathy… <The camera shows a wide view of the Airai members>

Kathy: <talking loudly> They're giving out free hot dogs down there! <A confused Mikey turns his head> You guys missed it cause you all stayed up here… <Joel is now shown next>

Joel: Kathy, you can't keep taking the machete! <Kathy is then shown again>

Kathy: <to Joel> What, it's not like I'm a klepto, am I? <Jason can be heard saying "But you don't have to take it"> Somebody thought it would be fun to leave us with only one machete for eight people… <A quick clip of Mikey is now shown next>

Mikey: <to Kathy> It was never yours to begin with… <The camera now scrolls over to Alexis>

Alexis - CONFESSIONAL: Kathy, she's a really quirky, just goofy personality, which makes her definitely fun to have around, <A wide view of the other seven Airai members sitting around the fire is shown> but <pause> she likes to just disappear with the machete, which is basically our life out here, <The camera scrolls back over to Alexis, as she puts a pot of water of the fire> so at this point, I feel like she's functioning more as an individual when we really need to be functioning as a tribe. <A prominent drumbeat is heard, as the screen abruptly fades out>

Malakal Tribe ("Favorites") - Day 10

<'Rituals' plays, as the camera shows underwater footage of a stingray swimming through the shallow ocean waters, and then cuts ahead to show an aerial view of several tropical islands. A blurry view of the Malakal tribe's flag is shown, before the camera sharpens its image. A clip of Ian and Earl working on constructing a bathroom is shown, as the camera zooms in on Ian>

Ian: <to Earl> Start bringing all the bamboo down? <Earl is then shown laying palm fronds onto the roof of the bathroom hut> It doesn't matter where you are, you always need a bathroom… <laughs> <A prominent sound is heard, as the camera switches angles to show Ruth Marie>

Ruth Marie - CONFESSIONAL: I have noticed, <short pause> the two are Earl and Ian: they've become very close, <Earl and Ian are now shown returning back to camp carrying coconuts> and they tend to jump on all the jobs that need to be done around camp. <The camera cuts ahead to show Ian chopping into a coconut, as juice pours out>

Ian: Oh, that's a good coconut… <The camera now shows Ian handing the coconut to Earl>

Ruth Marie - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> Originally, they were part of an alliance of six, but the women are starting to really find them threatening, <A contemplative Ami is now shown staring into the distance> so <pause> you know how the game twists and turns, and <short pause> it's going to be women against the men… <A mysterious music begins to play, as the camera shows a side view of a snake slithering along the jungle floor, and then cuts ahead to show another clip of Earl and Ian talking on the beach>

Earl: Everybody started playing from Day One; <short pause> it didn't used to be like that… <A close-up view of Ian is now shown, as the camera focuses in on him>

Ian: <to Earl> Are you getting the same feeling I am? <Earl is then shown subtly nodding his head> Like the girls are turning on us? <Another view of Ian is shown next> I know they are…

Earl - CONFESSIONAL: Well, right now, I see the women all lining up, <There is a prominent sound, as the camera shows several Malakal women lying in the shelter> and that makes me a little nervous because there's five women, four guys. <The camera zooms in on Ami>

Ami: We should all, like, lay on each other to keep each other warm… <laughs> <The camera then switches angles to show Earl and Ian talking again>

Earl - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> You know, five women together can be dangerous cause women'll stick together through anything, <laughs> so <pause> that tells me that it time for Ian and I to devise a new plan. <Another close-up view of Earl is shown next>

Earl: <to Ian> I'm telling you now that we're gonna have to do something… <Ian now nods>

Earl - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> You know, let's get our movin' and shakin' done now so that if we have to go to Tribal Council, we're already in the majority. <Ian and Earl are shown>

Ian: <to Earl> I mean, I hate to even think about going back on my word, <Ian pauses, as the camera scrolls around him> so if we lose Immunity, I say we vote off Eliza that way we get rid of a girl and we still keep our six… <A pensive Earl is now shown with a look of clear thought>

Ian - CONFESSIONAL: I said before the game started that I wasn't gonna turn on people unless they turned on me, <Another view of the Malakal women talking and laughing in the shelter is now shown> and you'd be crazy to think that the girls are not gonna separate from the guys right now. They've got the perfect opportunity… <The camera returns back to Earl>

Earl: <to Ian> I think Brooke, if we guaranteed her Final Three, <The camera fades out to show a clip of Brooke drinking from her water canteen> she would stay with us and not go with the women… <A thoughtful-looking Ian is now shown nodding his head, as he says "Mm hmm">

Ian: <to Earl> That's exactly what, um, <pause> that was my Final Three… <Ian is shown>

Ian - CONFESSIONAL: My strategy the first time around was pretty good; <short pause> it got me to third place, so <long pause> strategy's the same: <The camera continues to focus on Ian for a few seconds> I feel like Brooke's my Katie; <Another view of Brooke is shown> Earl's my Tom. <Earl is then shown again> He's a little bit older than I am; <short pause> he's wiser. He's learned from his mistakes the first time just like I have, or I hope I have. <laughs> You know, I told Earl that I would take him to the end with me, and I meant it. <A prominent drumbeat is heard, as the camera goes back to both Earl and Ian again>

Ian: <to Earl> So let's talk to her and let her know that we're gonna be with her 'til the end…

Earl - CONFESSIONAL: I trust Ian. He's just a good guy; <short pause> he's a genuine guy and he wants to play an honest game, <Ian and Earl are shown walking over to Brooke, as Ian says "I hope everything works out"> and I like people like that. You know, me and Ian could go a long way… <The camera now shows another close-up view of Earl>

Earl: So the game is really beginning… <Brooke is now shown nodding in agreement>

Brooke: <to Earl> Oh yeah; the honeymoon phase is definitely over. <Ian is then shown>

Ian: I feel like we haven't had to go to Tribal Council, and everyone's going nuts… <laughs>

Earl: So, <Earl takes a long pause, as Ian says "So" and there is an awkward silence> who are you thinking goes next, Struckster? <An uncomfortable Brooke now looks up>

Brooke: <to Earl> I thought we were all on the same page with Terry first, and then Aras, <The camera shows quick clips of Aras and Terry> but I'm kindof holding off on discussing other options unless we actually lose Immunity… <Earl is now shown again>

Earl: We don't know when to expect Immunity. <Ian is then shown, as he says "That's true"> You know, we could have to go to Tribal Council tonight, so I say we get the final plan now…

Brooke: Before it becomes a mad scramble… <The camera continues to show Brooke, as she subtly nods> Okay, so who are you thinking? <Another view of Earl is shown>

Earl: <to Brooke> I think Eliza, <Ian says "I do too"> because we keep Aras and Terry a little while longer for strength, and we still have you for puzzles… <Ian is now shown again>

Ian: <to Brooke> Your stock would go up, for sure. <Earl says "Eliza makes the most sense">

Brooke - CONFESSIONAL: I think the fact that I'm really tight with both the women and the men puts me in a really precarious position because if we do have to face another Tribal Council, <A wide view of several Malakal members sitting by the fire is shown> I would definitely be the swing vote… <The camera now cuts back to Earl, Brooke, and Ian>

Earl: <to Brooke> Your vote can change everything. If you go with us, we can be Final Three…

Brooke: That's what I have to think about. <The camera continues to focus on Brooke again>

Brooke - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> I definitely have a pretty cunning plan up my sleeve, which I haven't yet revealed to anyone because I feel like we could be coming up to a tribe mix-up in the next few days, so <long pause> I'd rather not show my hand just yet unless I really have to… <Earl is then shown with a contemplative expression on his face>

Earl - CONFESSIONAL: I have Ian fully on my side, and I'm pretty sure we can get Aras and Terry because they have no other side, <laughs> <The camera shows a rapid clip of both Aras and Terry> so all we need to keep the power here is that one vote to tip the scales in our favor, which hopefully will be Brooke, <Brooke is shown again, as she says "We'll see"> and once we have Brooke, the game is back in our hands. Just like that. <A prominent drumbeat is heard, as the camera shows quick clips of several Malakal members. The screen then fades out>

Airai Tribe ("Fans") - Day 10

<'Darkness' plays, as the underwater camera shows a sea turtle swimming through the shallow ocean waters, and then fades into a clip of the tops of several palm trees, before scrolling down to show the Airai tribe's flag. A close-up view of the tribe's fire flickering and crackling is shown, as Natalie snaps a stick in half and then tosses it into the fire>

Natalie: <talking aloud> I wish that was Mikey's neck… <laughs> <The camera continues to show Natalie, and then scrolls over to both Alexis and Mary, who are sitting on a log>

Natalie - CONFESSIONAL: We got back from Tribal last night, and I was stunned by the votes. <Natalie can now be seen tending to the fire> Um, <pause> I was stunned to see Kathy's name in there <A clip of Kathy sitting on the beach is shown> and I was stunned to see Erik's name come up three times, especially when Joel, Mikey, and Erik assured us that it was gonna be unanimous for Jason, so <pause> I don't know what's up with that… <The camera now cuts ahead to show the three younger Airai women bathing in the ocean>

Alexis: I just, I feel duped… <Mary says "Yeah," as the camera turns to Natalie>

Natalie: They just kindof slapped us all in the face, and <pause> I'm so over those guys… <A close-up view of a devious Natalie is shown, as the camera continues to focus on her>

Natalie - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> To be very blunt, I'm no longer with Mikey and Joel. I'm not in an alliance with them because it's on their shoulders that we lost Erik. <A prominent sound is heard, as the camera shows Joel and Mikey lying in the shelter> I don't know if it was that they didn't trust us; <short pause> they didn't think that we were smart enough to keep up with their plan? <Natalie is shown with a contemplative expression> So that's what I was a little peeved about, <pause> and I still am, so <pause> this could be a pivotal move for the girls…

Natalie: I'll talk to Tracy, Kathy, and Jason and see if we can weasel our way in; <short pause> I mean, that would be in their best interest, right? <A sneaky Natalie now raises her eyebrows, as the camera shows a fast-forwarded view of the sky, and then fades out to show Kathy and Tracy both standing in the shallow ocean waters in the midst of a conversation>

Kathy: <to Natalie> Hey, Nat-a-tat-tat… <Natalie is now shown swimming over to them>

Natalie: Can I steal Tracy for, like, two seconds? <Another close-up view of Kathy is shown>

Kathy: <to Natalie> You want me to go? <The camera scrolls back over to Natalie>

Natalie: <to Kathy> Will you? We'll call you back in, like, a minute… <Kathy says "Okay," as the camera zooms out to show the three Airai women, and Kathy swims a few feet away. A prominent drumbeat is heard, as the camera cuts back to a coy Natalie>

Natalie: Okay, so <long pause> we can tell her all this, I just wanted to talk to you first… <The camera now shows Tracy listening intently>

Tracy: Mm hmm… <A delighted Natalie is then shown, as she brushes her hair back>

Natalie: <to Tracy> I admire how you just took the bull by the horns and <pause> it makes more sense if we work alongside each other, <Tracy now nods her head> because I think you and I are a lot alike strategically. <A mysterious shift in the music occurs, as a contemplative Tracy says "I know"> Um, mentally, I think we're ahead of all the competition, <Kathy is shown floating in the water a few feet away> and <long pause> I've got Mary and Alexis locked. <The camera now returns to Natalie and Tracy> Like, they're solid, and I know you're worrying about just having three votes, but we can be a strong six <Tracy says "Thanks"> and just snap Mikey's neck at the next Tribal we go to… <laughs> <Tracy is shown nodding her head>

Tracy: <to Natalie> Do you want to call her over? <Natalie is shown again, as she says "Mm hmm" and the camera shows Tracy motioning towards Kathy, who swims back over>

Kathy: I just heard jumbled voices; I swear… <Another close-up view of Natalie is shown>

Natalie: <to Kathy> I'm just telling her, we're gonna go to the end as five women. <Kathy is shown with a surprised look on her face, as she says "Oh"> I mean, we can keep Jason as a sixth, but Mikey has to go next… <The camera continues to show Kathy>

Kathy - CONFESSIONAL: I trust Tracy, right now, the most in this game, <Another close-up view of Tracy is shown, as the camera focuses on her> and you need one person that you can talk honestly around and just be yourself, and that's something that's just kindof lacking with some of the younger, hotter girls… <The camera cuts ahead to show a wide view of the five Airai women carelessly swimming in the shallow ocean waters>

Alexis: <talking loudly> I love, like, this weather! <Another view of Kathy is shown>

Kathy - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> …but <pause> all of a sudden, Natalie comes over and they want to be in our alliance. <Natalie can be heard saying "I think that's gonna be good"> She says they're done with the boys, so now our alliance population, like, doubled! I like that we're in a majority alliance without these big egomaniac guys, <Both Mikey and Joel are now shown> but I think we're gonna have to really watch Natalie, <Another rapid view of Natalie is shown next> because she has an uncanny ability to put people under her Fembot spell… <The camera cuts ahead to show Tracy and Kathy lying in the shelter>

Kathy: <to Tracy> Do you feel good about that? <The camera now zooms in on Tracy>

Tracy: <to Kathy> I'm gonna go with it; <long pause> just for now… <A prominent drumbeat is heard, as the camera shows Natalie smirking innocently. The screen then fades out>

Malakal Tribe ("Favorites") - Day 11

<'Party Hardy' plays, as the camera shows a fast-forwarded view of the sky, and then fades into a wide view of the Malakal tribe's beach. A side view of the eight celebratory castaways returning back to camp is shown, as indistinct shouting and cheering can be heard>

Ian: Oh, man; we are eating good tonight! <laughs> <The camera now turns to Eliza>

Eliza: I'm so happy we got this! <Ami can be seen setting the purple challenge flag down, before the camera shows the eight Malakal members gathering together in a group>

Ami - CONFESSIONAL: The challenge today was a blast. I am so happy that we crushed the Fans again you just wouldn't believe it. <laughs> <Ami is shown, as she says "Cheers to Malakal"> You know, we've won the last five challenges and I think losing another Reward will really put them down, so <short pause> the next Immunity tomorrow, we should have it in the bag hands down. <A prominent sound is heard, as the camera cuts ahead to show Brooke>

Brooke: I can't believe we won five in a row… <Ian is then shown grabbing a bag of rice>

Ian: How good does that feel? <Ian now opens up one of the bags of rice> How good is that gonna taste? <laughs> <The camera switches angles to show a smiling Sherea>

Sherea - CONFESSIONAL: I'm very happy with the Reward today. <A clip of Terry popping open one of the bottles of wine is shown> We won two bottles of wine, <Brooke is then shown taking a drink from the bottle> three bags of rice and beans, and a bunch of spices. <The camera shows Sherea holding the spice rack, as Eliza, Ami, and Aras examine the spices>

Eliza: <to camera> Check out how much we won today… <laughs> <Ami is then shown>

Ami: Soya sauce, yeah! <Aras can then be heard excitedly saying "Oregano">

Sherea - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> The spices were wonderful. <The camera continues to show the four Malakal members, as they read off the names of the spices> You know, we got salt, pepper, paprika, um, <pause> bay leaves, oregano, olive oil, <A close-up view of a pot of rice is shown, as Sherea sprinkles oregano onto it> and it's great because we're trying different combinations with our rice, and the flavors are just amazing… <The nine Malakal members are shown sitting by the fire, as Eliza eats a spoonful of rice>

Eliza: This is the best thing I've ever eaten… <The camera now scrolls over to Ian>

Ian - CONFESSIONAL: Just to win the Reward Challenge today was definitely one of the highlights, so far, um, of this whole experience, <The Malakal members are shown cheering again, as they continue to eat and drink> and <pause> to share everything together with these guys and see everyone in the tribe be so grateful. <A wide view of the Favorites is shown>

Ian: We totally deserve this… <Ian can now be seen taking a drink from the bottle of wine>

Ian - CONFESSIONAL: I think Airai's probably freaking out because we've just won five in a row. <The camera now scrolls across the excited Favorites> I don't know; hoping to keep our run going, but um, this feels a little déjà vu for me, for sure. <Ian is then shown again> There must be something in the water around here… <laughs> <A prominent drumbeat is heard, as the camera focuses on the tribe's flickering fire and the screen fades out>

Exile Island - Night 11

<'Determination' plays, as the infrared camera shows the clouds shifting in the stormy night sky, and then cuts ahead to show lightning streaking over the ocean and illuminating the wooden hut. The infrared camera then switches angles to show both Mikey and Ruth Marie huddled under a slanted cave area, as large raindrops pour down on them>

Mikey - CONFESSIONAL: The Favorites chose me to go to Exile Island, which gave me the power to pick one of them to join me. <A loud rumble of thunder is heard, as the camera shows rain pouring down into the ocean> The reason why I picked Ruth Marie was: <Mikey pauses, as the infrared camera shows Ruth Marie shivering> one, she's weak; <short pause> and two, I planned on looking for the hidden Immunity Idol, so I needed someone that I could physically, you know, beat to the thing, and just my luck, it's raining cats and dogs… <Another flash of lightning is shown, before the infrared camera goes back to Mikey and Ruth Marie>

Mikey: <to Ruth Marie> So what's the deal with the idol? <Ruth Marie is then shown again>

Ruth Marie: It's a scavenger hunt thing. <Mikey can be seen turning his head> I found three of the clues and now I have to start all over again… <Another view of Mikey is shown>

Mikey: Ohhh; that's how Jason found it so fast! <The infrared camera returns to Ruth Marie>

Ruth Marie - CONFESSIONAL: From what Jeff said at the challenge, there's a different set of clues because Jason, he actually found the idol and used it at Tribal Council, <The infrared camera scrolls back over to Mikey> so I no longer have a lead with the first clues… <Rain is now shown dripping down from the roof of the cave>

Mikey: <to Ruth Marie> And your tribe has a tarp! <Ruth Marie covers her face with her buff>

Ruth Marie - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> I'm also a little bit more tired this time; <short pause> a little bit hungry. <Ruth Marie now shifts her position under the cave> You know, sleep is hard to come by in the middle of a torrential storm. <Mikey says "Wow, it sucks out here"> I hope my tribe is missing me. We have a good time when we're together, and I really want to be back over there. <Another clip of the two castaways lying under the cave is shown>

Mikey: <talking aloud> This is a brutal, brutal night… <Rapid clips of Ruth Marie, Mikey, and the night sky are shown. A prominent drumbeat is heard, as the screen abruptly fades out>

Airai Tribe ("Fans") - Day 12

<A sympathetic music plays, as the camera shows the Airai tribe's beach and the tide washes several coconuts onto the sandy shore. Various supplies can be seen scattered across the beach, before the camera cuts ahead to show raindrops dripping down from palm leaves, and then switches angles to show several exhausted Fans lying awake in their shelter>

Natalie: We lost out on another chance to win blankets and a tarp… <Kathy is then shown>

Kathy: <to Natalie> It's not like we didn't try… <Another view of Natalie is shown next>

Natalie: And they had to send the guy to Exile, again, that we wanted to vote out. <laughs> <A prominent drumbeat is heard, as the camera shows Alexis laughing, and then cuts ahead to show a worn-out Joel crouched down by the fire pit and he scrapes the knife against the flint>

Joel - CONFESSIONAL: We lost another Reward Challenge yesterday, and it's hard to see the Favorites walk away with even more riches. <Alexis and Mary are shown shivering, as they huddle together to try to keep warm> Not only do I hate to lose, you know, I hate seeing other people win no matter what it is. <Tracy is then shown standing next to Joel> I want to be the winner, you know, and 0 in 5 in the last five challenges, that's killer. <An eerie sound is now heard, as the camera shows the seven Airai members gathered together in a group>

Jason: We're having a tribe meeting, okay? <The camera then scrolls back over to Joel>

Joel - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> I don't know what it is about this tribe; <pause> there's just no real chemistry. <The music changes, as the camera goes back to Jason>

Jason: I think it's good for our tribe to have these meetings… <Jason's voice then trails off, as the camera shows another view of the entire tribe, and then focuses in on a determined Joel>

Joel: This one's sink or swim today… <Another side view of Jason is shown next>

Jason: My only advice for the challenge would be: make sure we communicate, <A view of Kathy is shown, as she nods her head> and just pace ourselves, you know, <The camera now scrolls across several Airai members> and not freak out… <Natalie is then shown>

Natalie: Bottom line is we can't lose because if we lose, someone's going home no matter what. <The camera switches angles to show Jason again>

Jason - CONFESSIONAL: The stakes are really high to win this Immunity today because we're already down one tribe member compared to the Favorites. <Mary is now shown>

Mary: I honestly think we can work really well together if we stay calm and just listen… <Jason is now shown subtly nodding his head, as the camera zooms back in on him>

Jason: Yeah; <short pause> one person talking at a time… <Another view of Kathy is shown>

Kathy: Alexis should give us a motivational speech. <Alexis is then shown laughing>

Jason - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> I'm very confident about our tribe's will and our ability to pull this one out. <The camera shows Jason grabbing the Airai tribe's challenge flag> Um, I would definitely put money on the Fans tribe to win this challenge… <A prominent drumbeat is heard, as the seven castaways can be seen walking out of camp, and the screen fades out>

Malakal Tribe ("Favorites") - Day 12

<'Reflections' plays, as the camera shows an aerial view of several Palauan Rock Islands, and then scrolls around the Malakal tribe's beach. A seabird is then shown scurrying along the beach, as the tide washes up against it. Sherea is shown lying by herself in the shelter, before the camera switches angles to show Terry picking up the tribe's pot>

Terry: Anybody up for a walk down to the well? <The camera shows Ami turning her head>

Ami: <to Terry> That's a long walk to be making before a challenge, mister… <Aras is shown, before the camera scrolls back over to an expressionless Terry, who shrugs>

Terry: <to Ami> Do you plan on having water today?! <Ami is shown raising her eyebrows>

Ami: <to Terry> I think that's pretty funny because you see me here making breakfast for everyone? <Ami is then shown cutting up a piece of coconut> I can't be in two places at once… <Terry tenses his expression, before a prominent drumbeat is heard, and the camera abruptly cuts back to a stern-looking Sherea, who is still sitting in the shelter>

Sherea - CONFESSIONAL: Well, the biggest problem with our tribe right now is that we're not losing challenges. <Terry is shown again, as he says "Aras, wanna go?"> I mean, winning all the Rewards is great, but ever since we got rid of Dave, we have not had to go to Tribal Council and I've been waitin' for nine days to get rid of Terry. <The camera now cuts ahead to show the four Malakal women talking in a jungle area>

Ami: <to Sherea> Did Terry ever say anything about the vote? <Sherea is now shown>

Sherea: No, and he's had more than enough opportunity, you know? <Ami can then be heard saying "That's interesting"> But, <pause> they just ignore me anyway, so why do I care what they think? <The camera continues to focus on Sherea for a few seconds>

Sherea - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> I'm gettin' a little tired of waitin', so <long pause> I've been thinking on my own about losing this upcoming Immunity Challenge on purpose… <A prominent drumbeat is heard, as the camera shows Sherea again>

Sherea: Everytime we go to a challenge, we're like "Yeah, we love each other. We're so strong and so unified," <A close-up view of an uneasy Eliza is shown> you know, and that's BS, but yet, we keep winning… <Ami is then shown with a thoughtful look on her face>

Ami: Yeah, cause Terry and Aras know that they're the next to go if we lose, <The camera shows a clip of Terry and Aras at the water well> so they're fighting for their lives… <Sherea is then shown again, as the camera focuses back in on her>

Sherea: <to Ami> That's my point. We're never gonna lose, and I think we need to get rid of one of them before a swap <Brooke is now shown shifting her expression> because if they end up on the other tribe, they're gonna be pretty much unbeatable… <Eliza is shown again>

Eliza: <to Sherea> If you're suggesting we throw the challenge, the answer's no. <Ami can be heard saying "No way!" as the camera returns to Sherea>

Sherea: But I think they would flip over with the Fans, you know, because they're the two outsiders… <Another clip of Terry and Aras is shown, before the camera goes back to Ami>

Ami: <to Sherea> I don't feel comfortable throwing this challenge. <Eliza is then shown>

Eliza - CONFESSIONAL: Right now, I'm totally in a panic because Sherea just said that she wants us to lose this challenge on purpose and I think that's one of the stupidest things we could do… <The camera continues to focus on the other four Malakal women>

Eliza: I'm opposed to throwing challenges in general… <Ami is now shown nodding>

Ami: Yeah, we all should know better than that. <The camera now turns back to Brooke>

Brooke: I think we need to keep our numbers advantage over the Fans… <Ami is then shown>

Ami: <to Sherea> Well, <pause> you know where we stand… <A mysterious shift in the music occurs, as the camera shows Sherea again>

Sherea: <sarcastically> Thanks for sticking up for me. <Another clip of Eliza is shown>

Eliza - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> The problem is that Sherea sat out of the Reward Challenge, so she definitely has to participate. <The camera shows another close-up view of Sherea> You know, we can't sit her out and if she gets irrational and decides to throw it, we might not be able to do anything to stop her. <Sherea can then be seen walking away from her tribemates, as the camera shows a panicked Eliza>

Eliza: Oh my God; she can't have like a pivotal role because she'll lose it for us on purpose… Brooke: <to Eliza> We need to give her something where she'll do the least damage. <The camera continues to show Ami, Brooke, and Eliza, as they begin to walk back to camp>

Eliza - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> I'm horrified for this challenge; horrified… <There is a prominent drumbeat, as the screen abruptly fades out>

Airai Tribe ("Fans") - Day 12

<'Upon This Hill' plays, as the camera rapidly scrolls above the crystal clear ocean waters, and then abruptly cuts ahead to show a close-up view of the Airai tribe's flag. A side view of the eight defeated Fans returning back to camp is then shown, before the camera focuses in on a sad-looking Jason, who sets the orange challenge flag down. Natalie is then shown next>

Natalie: I'm so upset! <Mikey lets out a frustrated "Agh!" as he runs his hand through his hair>

Mikey - CONFESSIONAL: I feel crushed; <short pause> I'm humiliated, emotionally drained, and flat-out miserable. <Another view of Mikey is shown> Kathy hasn't stopped crying since we got back from the challenge. <The camera switches angles to show Kathy sitting in the shelter, as she sobs> You know, she just completely buckled under pressure. We would've won Immunity if not for her, and she needs to be punished for it immediately. <A prominent sound is heard, as the camera cuts ahead to show Joel and Mikey talking on the beach>

Mikey: Damn! What we were thinking not putting Kathy first?! <The camera turns to Joel>

Joel: <to Mikey> That's the problem: <short pause> the Favorites keep outthinking us. <Mikey is now shown shaking his head> They're not necessarily stronger or smarter… <Another close-up view of Mikey is shown, as the camera continues to focus on him>

Mikey: <to Joel> They even tried to throw it, and we still lost! <Joel is heard saying "I know!">

Mikey - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> Kathy just wrote her ticket home with that piss-poor performance, and <long pause> wow, I'm embarrassed for her… <An eerie flute-type sound is now heard, as a sad music begins to play. The camera shows a silhouetted view of several palm trees, before fading out to show a devastated Kathy lying in the shelter>

Kathy - CONFESSIONAL: We were so sure we were gonna win our Immunity Challenge, and obviously we didn't. <The camera continues to focus on Kathy> I'm just really sad because if we're going to be judge based on who was weakest today, then it would be me, <A quick clip of several Airai members talking by the fire is shown> and <pause> they might all just choose to vote me off based on how I did… <The camera shows a teary-eyed Kathy hugging Tracy>

Kathy: I know I did horrible. I'm sorry… <A close-up view of Tracy is shown next>

Tracy: <to Kathy> You don't have to be sorry; <short pause> you did nothing wrong, okay? <A view of an emotional Kathy is shown, as she shakes her head>

Kathy: It just sucks! I'm not ready to leave… <The camera continues to show a tearful Kathy>

Kathy - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> It means everything for me to be here, you know? <A close-up view of Kathy is shown, as she wipes her eyes> I don't want to go, but there's nothing positive going on for me today, and yeah, I'm beating myself up about it… <The camera now cuts ahead to show Jason and Kathy talking in front of the shelter>

Kathy: <to Jason> It was something we could have easily won, you know? <Kathy hugs Jason, as he says "Well, you tried"> I don't see how I could be that bad… <The camera now shows a watchful Tracy standing nearby with a thoughtful look on her face>

Tracy - CONFESSIONAL: Kathy is having a hard time right now because she feels responsible for us having to go to Tribal Council tonight. <Kathy is shown talking to Alexis, as she says "What do I do?!"> Fortunately, Jason gave me Immunity last Tribal Council; <short pause> I can give it to Kathy tonight, taking the target off of her, and then the five women plus Jason can all take down Mike. <The camera shows a wide view of the ocean, and then fades out to show the Airai tribe's main camp area. Mikey and Joel are shown talking in the shelter>

Mikey: <to Joel> If you're gonna lose badly, you might as well lose really badly… <laughs> <A prominent sound is heard, as the camera switches angles to show Tracy, Kathy, and Natalie>

Tracy: If I hear that one more time, I'm gonna go mental. <Kathy is then shown again, as she adds "You and me both"> Nobody's losers here… <The camera continues to show Kathy>

Natalie - CONFESSIONAL: We come back from Immunity today, and Mikey starts running his mouth… <Another close-up view of Mikey is shown, as laughter can be heard>

Mikey: We've mastered the art of failure. <laughs> <Joel can then be seen smirking>

Natalie - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> You know, I kindof liked it better at camp when he was gone. <The camera now scrolls back over to a thoughtful-looking Natalie> Honestly, I just get so sick and tired of hearing him talk. The dumbass should've stayed on Exile, for all I care. I don't want him here! <Mikey and Joel are now shown again>

Mikey: <to Joel> How many days have I been gone? They couldn't even catch one crab in two days?! <The camera now cuts back to Natalie, who looks frustrated>

Natalie - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> I've absolutely had it with him, and <pause> outside of this game, I wouldn't even say anything; he's not worth my time, but he is getting voted out tonight, <A close-up view of Mikey is shown, as he laughs at something> he's not gonna be on the jury, so I think I can afford myself to, um, rile him before tonight. <A comical sound is heard, as the camera shows Natalie walking over to Mikey and Joel> Why not? Make his last day memorable… <Natalie is now shown standing in front of the shelter>

Natalie: <talking loudly> You know, I'm really tired and I think a lot of people are really tired of your attitude. <A surprised Mikey is now shown looking up> I'm just gonna be honest: <short pause> you don't think you have one, but you do… <Mikey is then shown again>

Mikey: [Inaudible] …coming from the Queen Bitch of Airai?! <The camera shows Natalie>

Natalie: <to Mikey> I know I have attitude; <short pause> I totally own up to it, <A silent Joel is then shown shaking his head> but you, you hold yourself up on a pedestal; you complain…

Natalie: So we're all solid on Mikey B. <The camera shows Mikey climbing out of the shelter> That's all we need is our six votes. <The camera turns to show both Jason and Tracy>

Tracy: <to Natalie> What if Mike has the idol? <Natalie is then shown again>

Natalie: Yeah, about that… <Natalie's voice trails off, as the camera continues to show her>

Natalie - CONFESSIONAL: Mikey was sent to Exile. He had one clue to find the re-hidden idol, <Mikey is now shown sitting down by the fire> plus it rained for a good couple hours, so we're hoping that that drastically reduced his opportunity to look. <Natalie is shown again>

Natalie: I don't think he's good with clues either, so… <A view of Jason is shown next>

Jason: Yeah, but <pause> that's what everyone thought about me. <laughs> <Natalie is now shown smiling, as she replies "True," and the camera focuses on her again>

Natalie - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> Yeah, this could be a moment of hubris, but <long pause> do I think he found it? No… <Natalie can be seen walking away from the other three Airai members, as the camera zooms in on Jason>

Jason: This is getting really complicated… <laughs> <Kathy is shown looking towards Tracy>

Kathy: <to Tracy> I don't know if we can trust those girls. <Jason asks "Seriously?"> They have three and we have three. Isn't it better to make it three, two, and two? <Tracy is shown with a conflicted look on her face, as she hesitates for a few seconds before responding>

Tracy - CONFESSIONAL: The more I see of Natalie, the more of a threat I think she becomes, and <pause> that is absolutely a danger because knowing how manipulative Natalie is, <Natalie and Alexis are both shown lying on the beach, as Alexis says "This is heaven"> I could easily see her trying to take over the strategic role because she has three votes; <A clip of Mary picking a coconut up off the beach is shown> Jason, Kathy, and myself have three votes, <A wide view of the three Airai members is now shown> so the key players are Mike and Joel. We have to decide: <short pause> do we want to take them out or do we use them to cement control of the tribe? <Tracy is shown with a thoughtful look on her face, before the camera zooms out to show Joel, Mikey, and Tracy talking on the beach>

Joel - CONFESSIONAL: I don't think we're ever going to win a challenge unless there's unity in our tribe, <A wide view of several Airai members talking on the beach is shown> and logically, it makes the most sense to say "Kathy cost us the Immunity. Kathy should go." <A prominent sound is heard, as the camera shows Kathy crying in the shelter> I mean, that sounds to me like something everybody can agree on… <Tracy, Joel, and Mikey are now shown again, before the camera zooms back in on Tracy>

Tracy: You guys made the selfish move last time by trying to get rid of Jason. <Joel is shown with a thoughtful look on his face> I'm giving Kathy my Immunity tonight; <short pause> I mean, I'm just gonna be straight-up with you… <There is an eerie shift in the music, as the camera shows a surprised Mikey making an annoyed face>

Mikey: <to Tracy> You're giving it to Kathy?! <Another view of Tracy is shown>

Tracy: I mean, we might as well figure out someone that we're voting out before things get crazy at Tribal. <Joel is then shown with a tense expression on his face>

Joel - CONFESSIONAL: I'm very concerned about the vote tonight. Tracy, Kathy, and Jason are in a huge power position. <The camera shows Tracy again, as she continues speaking to Mikey and Joel> I mean, after the last Tribal Council, they are just calling the shots, and <long pause> sure we have to vote someone out tonight, but at the same time, we also have to build this team up from zero out of eight individuals. <Joel is then shown again>

Joel: Well, obviously, Mikey and I are strong in the challenges; <short pause> Mary's good around camp… <Tracy is then shown again, as she interrupts Joel>

Tracy: So I guess it's either Alexis or Natalie then. <Joel is shown with an unconvinced look>

Joel: <to Tracy> Where do you get that? <The camera shows another view of Tracy>

Tracy: Well, we're gonna have to negotiate because I can tell you this, and this is all I'm gonna say, Alexis and Natalie have already talked to us about voting you or Mike out… <An unfazed Joel is then shown, as a prominent sound is heard>

Joel: <to Tracy> Oh yeah; <short pause> I mean, you're telling me that and I know they don't trust us because they felt like we left them out. <The camera shows Tracy again>

Tracy: <to Joel> And I don't know yet what we're gonna do, so if you don't wanna go home, you're better off to work with us… <Both Joel and Mikey are now shown>

Joel: No, I hear you; <There is an extended silence, as the camera scrolls across the three Airai members> I think Natalie does a little more work than Alexis… <Tracy is shown next>

Tracy: I'm gonna leave it up to you, and once you tell me who it is, that's the name I'm gonna put down. <Mikey can then be heard saying "Uh huh," as the camera returns to Joel>

Joel - CONFESSIONAL: I don't know if there is a team left, to be honest with you, <A wide view of several Airai members is shown next> and if Tracy gives Immunity to Kathy, this vote is gonna divide us even more. <Tracy is then shown, as she says "Just think about it"> I mean, it's going to because we can't come up with a consensus one way or another. Everybody wants it their own way, and right now, I have no frickin' idea… <laughs> <A front view of Joel and Mikey is shown, as they walk back towards the main Airai camp>

Mikey: <to Joel> Why can't we just vote her out then? <Joel asks "Vote Tracy?"> Vote out Tracy because Tracy was the mastermind behind that whole Erik move. <short pause> She has so much control! <The camera switches angles to show another view of an uneasy Joel>

Joel: <to Mikey> But how are we gonna get enough votes for Tracy? <Mikey shifts his expression, as he asks "Well, why not?!"> I can tell you right now, Natalie and Alexis are not gonna trust us. <The camera continues to focus on Mikey for a few seconds>

Joel: Well, I don't know. This is what we need to figure out… <Mikey is shown again>

Tracy - CONFESSIONAL: I'm taking a risk that the people who were gonna vote for Kathy tonight, <Kathy is now shown grabbing her torch> aren't all just gonna vote me off in her place, and it's a genuine risk, <Tracy can then be seen putting the Immunity necklace around her neck> but I think instead, the three of the younger girls are gonna vote for Mike, <A close-up view of Mikey looking around is shown> and Joel and Mike are gonna vote for Alexis or Natalie, <A clip of both Natalie and Alexis grabbing their torches is shown> so <pause> myself, Jason, and Kathy, we have the luxury of being able to pick a side… <The camera now cuts ahead to show another view of Jason, Kathy, and Tracy talking>

Kathy: Well, I think an alliance of five is better than an alliance of six 'cause six doesn't stay together after the merge. <Jason is shown subtly nodding his head> You know, people flop…
