Borneo? i reckon you have some great characters to work with in the earlier seasons. :) love your "all-Star Survivor: Berlize" though, even though i am not a fan of many of the people in it. your fanfics will change that :) you really are talented. |

Thoughts during the episode
-Charlie says he's thinking about voting for Dan at the next TC, yet we don't see him talk to anyone about it, yet. -Interesting way to split the groups after the reward, not so sure GC is going to get much to happen though with Charlie/Randy and him/Paloma. -Man, it's like Randy just dropped off the edge of a cliff and died, I mean even when the group talks about voting out Dan he doesn't say anything, only talks in confessionals. -Hmm, Randy tells Dan about Charlie's plan, this'll be interesting. -Not quite sure how the vote is going to go heading into TC, I guess Dan seeing as all of Randy's other plans have failed miserably this season. -Yay Charlie left, there goes the 'obvious' winner candidate. GC (Thinking through all of your winners, I don't recall anyone who ever appeared to be a sidekick for a while winning it all. That makes GC's story different and unique, and his numbers are well within lines of other winners. The one thing that concerns me is he's been shown as a bit dumb at times, but there are no better candidates, so I'm sticking with GC in the finale) 2) Based on Edgic, which Survivor(s) do you think are not eligible to be the winner, and are therefore "eliminated?" -Paloma (Too many INV's, and very low visibility UTR episodes before the swap) History is not on their side -Dan (Looking at Dan, there's one big flaw in his numbers compared to your past winners. No one has EVER been this P all season long. I count 7 for him, and an 8th P this episode. The only person even semicomparible is Tina, and you've admitted that episodes were much longer that season, and that you gave out too much tone, and too much visibility in each episode that season because of the much longer episodes. So I think Dan is the decoy winner who goes home before th F2 in the finale. Another big flaw with Dan's edit, no winner has ever had the same tone 5 episodes in a row, like his 5 P's in a row) -Randy (I've looked at past villain winners, Stacy and Dave. Stacy wasn't quite a villain, but didn't have such a great edit, she actually had an equal number of P's and N's by the end of the season. Randy still doesn't have any P's. Dave on the other hand, never had any P's either, and was an outright villain the whole season. Yet despite that he got 2 M's (to Randy's 1), and 6 N's (to Randy's 8), and Dave never had 5 N's in a row either, the most in a row he had was 2) |

Hi GF! Sorry wasn't able to comment on ep 12. Anyway, great episode! Sets the stage for the finale.Thank you. No worries about not commenting on the last episode. Glad you were able to get your thoughts in this time though, and yes, I agree that it sets the stage well for the finale with Paloma as the underdog, a possible F3 alliance, and a possible F2 alliance of good vs. evil within that, but of course things can change quickly so who knows what will happen... I loved GC's confessional about people getting themselves voted out.It's definitely true, and I think he's done a good job of putting in his vote wherever it's needed. Interestingly, I see him playing sortof similar to Sandra in that he's willing to vote for anyone but him, which is an unusual strategy for a male castaway, but it's worked for him. He's just played a better physical game than she did and was able to win challenges, but if he's in the Final Two, I think he would get some of the same criticisms that someone like Sandra did too. 10Thank you very much for the 10! I really appreciate that! :) Finally, thanks a lot for your finale predictions. You're the first person so far to predict a G.C./Dan Final Two. I think that may have been the last possible combination left to be guessed. It's interesting to see everyone having different ideas of what will happen and all are equally as possible. These are amazing.Thank you for the compliments. Unfortunately, I have not written out fully developed stories for any seasons prior to Guatemala. I had done some loose planning for Vanuatu and Palau and I know I have a boot order for Palau kicking around somewhere (I've talked about these a bit in the thread before). Eliza was supposed to be the winner of Vanuatu against Brady, and Willard won Palau against Bobby Jon. Stephenie was third place in that season. I haven't done anything for earlier seasons, and aside from simply not having the time to write older seasons, my reason for not doing so is that the stories would be influenced by what happened on the real seasons, which I do not like. If I were to do this though, I would probably do Marquesas, Vanuatu, or maybe Thailand since I think that cast had more potential than people give it credit for but the twists worked out terribly for the season. you really are talented.Well, thank you very much. It takes an extreme amount of work, time, and dedication to finish a project of this scale, but I'm always glad to read everyone's thoughts and I think it is worth it in the end. I haven't really heard a complaint yet about Charlie leaving, so it must have been a good thing. No matter who leaves in fourth, I will like the Final Three. I think there are a lot of great combinations that can happen this season, and for me anyway, I can't really think of a disappointing ending. I think Paloma would be a random and funny winner, but I think I could make people come around to it if she gets an extremely strong finale episode. Dan and Randy allyingYeah, I agree it was nice to have CPP and CPN come together like that. 10...Charlie going=10Thanks a lot! I know you said you loved the episode, so hopefully the 10 is based on more than just Charlie going. :D Thank you for your finale predictions, and for filling out the Popularity Poll! Glad that one of your favorites, Randy, was able to stick around the finale. Finally, thanks for your Edgic ratings and excellent job on them, as always! Charlie - CPM5- (Could also be negative. But there were definitely confessionals from as far back as Episode 7 (or maybe 8) where Charlie alluded to having to get rid of Dan before the end in order to win, and I think it was inevitable. -Man, it's like Randy just dropped off the edge of a cliff and died, I mean even when the group talks about voting out Dan he doesn't say anything, only talks in confessionals.Sorry about that. It would have been nice to have more of him, but he already has so much more confessionals and a ton more visibility in general, so it was good for him to get a smaller episode before the finale, and I'm also glad that the episode was pretty good with the other four characters driving most of the story, though Randy was obviously a central factor in the vote. -Not quite sure how the vote is going to go heading into TC, I guess Dan seeing as all of Randy's other plans have failed miserably this season.Hmm, good that Charlie's blindside was a bit of a surprise then!! I enjoyed the jury speculation too and I'd say that it's pretty accurate to what would/will happen in a possible GC/Paloma Final Two situation. Ace - GC (Hates Paloma too much to vote for her, despite being betrayed by GC)True and Ace would probably respect gameplay also. Overall, GC was probably his second closest friend after Randy, and they were still technically allies when Ken left bc Kenny regrouped the Fang people in that episode and he went to GC first, so definitely good terms. Then again, looking at people's predictions, Randy has been predicted to win against every possible opponent, so no matter how negative and disliked he appears, his win is certainly not out of the question. Third place - GC (Paloma wins immunity if it's endurance)Well, it would certainly be interesting to have Paloma win and keep her enemy Randy (or vice versa). Then again, I've always wanted to have a Final Two where the two people hate each other and it makes for a very awkward Day 39 at camp. I think that would be interesting to see and it's never really happened. But pretty much Randy with anyone could lead to that happening, lol. Finally, thanks for your Edgic ratings too and very good job on them. I adjusted Charlie's visibility when I put your ratings into my spreadsheet just because I definitely think he should be more than a 2. I do Visibility charts for each episode (posted a few pages back) and his number was considerably higher than everyone's except Dan's. I agree this one will be difficult, since he's been rated everything from MOR to CPP to OTTP. I tend to lean towards CPP myself. Thanks again for your comments, mennonite! (A) What did you think of this episode? Please be as detailed as you can, wherever possible. I was surprised that Charlie was the boot. I was beginning to think that he was going to win after all. Anyways, I liked the episode. It felt weird that there was not much Randy in it compared to the last few episodes, but other than that... (B) What was your overall favorite part of the episode? No one really has much of a clear cut reason they deserve to win from playing the game the best this season, I mean they've all been blindsided at one TC or another other then Dan, and Dan hasn't exactly been shown as the lead strategist in my opinion. I mean he was cluelessly in the dark about plots to vote out one of their core 3 (as in Charlie/Paloma wanting to vote him out) until Randy spelled it out to him. |

Just to give a bit of an update, I think the finale recap will be posted either Thursday or Friday, and then the full finale will go up probably either the

This was definitely one of your better penultimate episodes (right up there with China, All-Stars, and even Micronesia)! It was nice to see the Powerhouse finally crumble, as Charlie's paranoia finally got the best of him. Like Crystal's boot episode, he made many mistakes and looked to be playing like someone might actually play this game. What sealed the deal for him was probably him helping Paloma win Immunity. My opinion of Dan has been redeemed completely in this episode. At first I thought he was just the muscle behind Charlie, but he kind of knows his way around strategy! Though Charlie's boot was mostly in due part to Randy, who I loved this episode considering that he didn't have too much of an overhaul in visibility. The only person who didn't seem to have that much stuff this episode was Paloma, but I'm sure she will as soon as they get back to camp. Considering how this stacks up to other penultimate episodes (Jamie's boot, Bruce's boot, Jonathan's boot, Yau-Man's boot), I think it's definitely one of the better ones!
