Please spend a few minutes to leave some comments and/or predictions for the rest of the story. I certainly do not expect everyone to fill out this survey. If you don't have time to or don't want to, then please feel free to leave any comments you like (even if it's just one or two lines), or just let me know that you read the episode. Anything will help and will be greatly appreciated! COMMENTS & QUESTIONS (A) What did you think of this episode? Please be as detailed as you can, wherever possible. I liked the episode a lot. It was pretty obvious that Fang was going to lose and that Michelle was going, but nevertheless it was satisfying. Seeing such a negative character leave is nice. I also like this more neutral-toned, underdog Crystal. She isn't nearly as annoying as I found her in the first two episodes. (B) What was your overall favorite part of the episode? Corrine, Matty, and Paloma have all received at least 1 INV1, so they are out. Jacquie had the borderline INV1/UTR1 (my chart has INV1), and she has been UTR in the other 2 episodes, so she is gone. Gillian won't win, she is too OTTP after being nearly invisible in the first episode as well. I'm getting really close to throwing Crystal, Dan, and GC out (Crystal and Dan for being too visible and GC for being too much like a filler character), but I'm not there yet.

Please be as detailed as you can, wherever possible. I think this was the weakest episode so far. I liked the tribal council and the bitching sessions, but all the Kota scenes were pretty predictable. It was quite obvious that Michelle was going right after the reward challenge. I was happy that Corinne got more screen time, but, at the same, the rivalry between her and Michelle came out of nowhere. I thought they were in an alliance actually. Please be as detailed as you can, wherever possible. First off, the recap. I normally don't read them too carefully because I read the previous episode and everything, but I thought that one thing that's important to note that I didn't see during the actual episode from last time is Randy forming an alliance with Ken, which I think is interesting, given my support of Ken as a winner choice. Plus, it goes against the idea of using Gill or Ken as allies due to their weakness. I'm glad to see that G.C. and Crystal (I like G.C. in this version) were able to put aside their differences and work together, despite G.C. going behind Crystal's back against Susie. And I like that Crystal's not as emotional this time around, so she understands that it was a game, and as such, she needs to think strategically, rather than emotionally, and try to exploit Sugar's blunder to take Jacquie, Bob and Marcus down a peg. One thing I think seems out of place is Crystal openly saying "me and G.C. are friends because we're black". I mean, we've seen that sort of thing before like with Vee and Sean or Ramona and Gervase, but I don't think they would ever edit them to actually state that as a reason, just because it might turn off or offend some viewers. I think that Bob and Marcus are being set up as opposition to one another. Bob is already closer to Jacquie and Sugar than he is to Marcus, and he's the leader of the tribe, whereas I think Marcus is the guy who WANTS to be the leader of the tribe, and as a result, they're going to clash because Bob is close to Sugar and Marcus doesn't trust her. I think this'll lead to Crystal & G.C. squeaking through another round. I like pretty much all of Fang because they're all flawed, yet good characters. Dan is naive, Charlie is Dan's buddy and yet they're the good guys who are teaming up with two of the biggest potential villains in the entire game. Cruella de Vil would be offended to have Charlie compare her to Corinne. I love the way you're writing Ace though, with him using big words like Ostensibly. It makes him seem arrogant without his annoyingly arrogant accent to give us that impression, so kudos on that. Gillian though, I do feel bad for her, but all of this set up leads me to believe she's going to be extremely important to the overall tribe. It's nice to see that Kota, the boring tribe, is doing so poorly and have actually become more of a clusterfuck than Fang was in the real show. I mean, you're in Africa and you don't notice that there's no freaking WATER?! It's good to see Bob stepping up as leader because it really suits his personality. He's good at the survival aspect, yet he's also sensative enough to listen to other peoples' opinions. He's the type of person that would make a great leader on the real show. That reward challenge was interesting because Kota finally won something and got some momentum going. Ken losing the puzzle challenge is bad for him and his confessional about them not holding it against him just makes me think that not only WILL the tribe hold it against him, but they'll also put him at there as a premiere boot target. Gillian going to Exile was to be expected, but she took it in stride and hopefully she can find the idol to prove herself and save herself. Kota's boring even when they win, Jesus. Get some reactions from Crystal for cryin' out loud. She's the interesting one. And Marcus' "winning is the best medicine" quote is just so goddamn contrived like he's trying to get a good soundbyte for the show. It's like Bob "I'm history, even though I teach physics" quote, only with Bob, he's not the kind of person who plays the the camera, so it just came off as him being quirky. Gillian is just so sweet and lovable in this edition, rather than just being a crazy old lady that's trying too hard. She's really enjoying the experience and it's nice to see. I've noticed that the idol clues are MUCH harder than they've been in recent years. I mean, Sugar found her idol after one trip to Exile, but these new clues are so generic that it seems almost impossible to find early in the game. And wow, you're making Michelle just like she was in the real show. She's the only one really bitching about anything. And to think that I was gonna make her the sweetheart of the season. So much for that, huh? When CORINNE, the queen bitch of the universe, is saying you're annoying and a bitch, then you're a pretty bitch fucking bitch. Ken and Dan handled Michelle's comments with grace, and Michelle may have just spared Gillian for another round. After all, Michelle hasn't really proven herself to be that great in challenges anyway. Once again, Kota is boring in their scene with Crystal wanting Sugar to get her mind in the game rather than moping and sulking about maybe getting voted out. I think Sugar could legitimately go home tonight. I mean, Fang has barely had the focus to merit going to tribal council this episode. Wow, that immunity challenge really set Michelle up to get booted. She personally lost the challenge for her tribe. She was too busy getting mad and fighting with Crystal that she didn't have her head in the game to try and win. I mean, the men on Fang are easily more dominat than Kota, but the remaining women are Jacquie and Crystal, which means that when the women are involved, they're gonna dominate Fang. The post-immunity strategy on Fang is very bizarre and with all the talk going down, it's weird. I mean, part of me thinks that it's just going to be the blatantly obvious Michelle boot, but the other part of me thinks that by Dan & Charlie voting for Gillian, that'll only leave three votes for Michelle while the other four all vote for Corinne. Honestly, voting for Gillian makes no sense whatsoever. I would think it would be better to be unified than to vote Gillian to hide an alliance. I did notice though that once again, Charlie & Dan are set on HIDING the powerhouse, rather than revealing it like Sugar did. That makes me think that once again, hiding alliances is a major theme of this season. Corinne definiely played as big a role in the game today and I can't see why Michelle would survive over Corinne though, with the way she's been acting. Randy & Kenny working together is LOVE though. Corinne vs. Michelle for bitchfest '09 is hilarious. Ken set Michelle up to bash him about the puzzle (Michelle, even in the real show, had a problem with keeping her mouth shut at tribal council) and Corinne just smacked her down in a funny way. Gillian and Ken being willing to admit to their weakness is important because they both know it's better to be honest than to try and pass the blame by ruffling feathers. Holy shit, Corinne making fun of Michelle's divorce is AWESOME because that's exactly the sort of thing she did to Sugar. She just made it personal. It's weird because Michelle is the clear and obvious choice, which just makes me think that something will change and Corinne will be the target for tonight. Dang, the obvious boot happened. I was really hoping to see Corinne go down. Well, maybe they'll realize that Ace & Corinne just aren't worth it and will bring in Randy & Kenny as the fourth and fifth members of the powerhouse alliance. The scenes from next episode definitely look exciting because Ken & Gillian are right. Corinne has a horrible attitude and is going to lead the Fang tribe to ruin, and personally I'd rather see those two "weaklings" stick around than Corinne or Paloma. Honestly, is there even a Paloma in this game? What happened to the big strategist Jeff talked about pre-show? (B) What was your overall favorite part of the episode? The fight between Michelle and Corinne at tribal council where everyone kinda got their licks in. It was a lot like the night of Keesha's birthday party on BB10 where everyone was just going batshit insane and hating everyone. (C) What would you rate this episode out of 10? (1 being the lowest; 10 being the highest) 8 (The end result was kinda boring and I just don't like seeing Kota succeed given how boring they are.) Please be as detailed as you can, wherever possible. This episode was pretty good. The Kota scenes were slightly boring (but that's because Marcus, Jacquie, Bob, and Matt aren't exactly exciting people) I liked Corinne and Michelle's fight, but it got a bit predicatable at the end. Personally, it seemed like booting Gillian may have been better just because she is extremely likable, and seems to have peaked after such a huge episode. Anyways nice job as always. Very Good I knew Gillian wouldnt go so I was assumed it was Ken, After the Challenge loss against Bob (Which weird since they both combatted in Ep 3) I thought he was dead meat. I'm not sure what's going on with FGC right now (something about an application?), so I'll post my comments here this week. COMMENTS & QUESTIONS (A) What did you think of this episode? Please be as detailed as you can, wherever possible. I absolutely adored this episode. Gillian's one of my favourite characters, so I was glad about how involved she was. I had a sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach as I read through the Exile segment, thinking she would go home, but the person that did definitely deserved it, and provided a lot of conflict that was really fun to read. (B) What was your overall favorite part of the episode? It's a tie between the Exile scene and the Tribal Council. I think that the Exile scene was really good for character development, and a nice, lighthearted scene considering all the negativity in the episode. (C) What would you rate this episode out of 10? (1 being the lowest; 10 being the highest) 9. It's my favourite so far, I think. Ace - 6 (he's going to be a good villain, but right now he's sitting back, securing himself a spot in the alliance. I definitely think he'll break the mold in the next two weeks.) Bob - 8 (he's a very positive character, similar to the real Bob, I guess. I don't think he's going to make it to the end, but I could see him making the merge.) Charlie - 7 (he had some good lines in this episode, and reverted to somebody I can stand, after last week.) Corinne - 6 (I'd like her more if I hadn't read the preview. I thought she might take the changes to heart, at least publicly, but continue to bash people in her confessional...) Crystal - 7 (she's such a tank.) Dan - 8 (I like him, but I think that until Ace becomes more villainous, he's going to become a little one-note. I'm all for a positive character, but I think that Gillian does it better than he does.) G.C. - 6 (he's interesting, and I don't quite know what to make of him yet.) Gillian - 10 (this may have been her penultimate episode, but I expect her to have a good swan song when she is voted out.) Marcus - 7 (there was a lot of him this week, but I still think he's on the outside of his alliance, and could be taken out around the merge.) Matty - 5 (still not a fan of his, he's kind of like Kenny.) Michelle - 5 (she's so spiteful, but she's also entertaining, kind of like Corinne) Paloma - 7 (I was expecting more from her this episode, but she didn't do anything. It's not looking good for her.) Shortly, though, I think Michelle should definitely be OTTNN. If Kelly is N, then no way is Michelle not NN. As for Corinne, I need to re-read, but I do remember there being some depth to her character this time, making me think about giving her a CPNN. The re-read will do me some good. Also-- my winner contender's list (Randy, Ace, Charlie, Dan) didn't change from last episode to this one. Maybe next episode there'll be somewhat of a shakeup in how I rank them. (of course, again, a simple re-read may do the trick) And one more thing-- I'm definitely thinking CPP for Gillian. I see her rating this episode as very similar to Sugar's Ep3 edit on the real show-- plenty of discussion to be had between CP and OTT. Please be as detailed as you can, wherever possible. Thoughts as I read: - The Sugar exposing her alliance and putting Marcus on the end thing: It honestly seemed kind of wanky. I'm not sure if people would honestly make that big of a deal about how someone lists names. It seems like the real argument should have focused more on that she listed names at all. - I noticed a person on each tribe was referred to as "driving the boat" or "driving the ship". I pay attention to turn of phrase and I wonder if there is going to be some relation between Bob's game and Dan's game now that both are widely acknowledged as their tribe's leader. - I'm not sure how I feel about the mid-challenge confessionals. It really breaks the tension of seeing who the challenge winner will be, not necessarily in a good way. - It's kind of obvious which tribe is going to TC in the first three episodes - whichever tribe gets more pre-IC facetime is the one not going to TC. - I enjoyed the Crystal/Michelle confrontation. Crystal, at least, does now give Fang a reason to take Kota seriously. It was nice to see the tribes switch places, so to speak. (B) What was your overall favorite part of the episode? Fang's Tribal Council. It was explosive, to say the least. Despite the fact that Fang is now losing, they still seem to be far overshadowing Kota as the more interesting tribe. Bob - MOR3 - Moves into the leadership role on Kota, which is a move I almost think he planned out considering he mentioned it and then was very quickly nominated for the position (by Jacquie?) but it wasn't obvious enough to be complex. Charlie - UTR2 - Letting Dan make the decisions in his alliance. Corinne - OTTN5 - One of two flash boils this episode. I sense a lot of Corinne's bitchiness was a direct intent to "out-bitch" Michelle. However, this is negative social gameplay. Flash boil characters don't win. Crystal - MOR5 - Odd rating, but if I counted correctly, Crystal had six confessionals, as well as a very very visible showing in the IC, and was by far and away the most visible person on her tribe. She's not a positive or negative character, but I feel as though she could swing either way based on whichever way the wind is blowing. She's an extremely volatile player which makes her very interesting to watch. Dan - CP3 - Continues to be the voice of the Fang tribe and a likable, visible character. I stand by what I said about him turning into a casual fan favorite. G.C. - MOR3 - Not really much talk of strategy, but you can sense Crystal's dependence on him and how much she likes him, which makes him important, based on Crystal's visibility. Gillian - OTTP5 - The grandma thing was so cute. She is definitely easy to root for, which makes me hope that she isn't doomed as quickly as she normally would in a game of Survivor. I can see her getting a Dan Barry exit edit, with the epic music and the respect of her tribemates and all that if/when they vote her out. Jacquie - UTR2 - Not much to say. She seems to be keeping herself well-positioned. Her edit this episode resembles Charlie's. However I don't think I know enough about her yet to be able to consider her a contender. Ken - MOR3 - Had little or nothing to do with the strategic discussion. He's very distanced from the strategic center of his tribe. Some SPV negativity from Michelle, but half of the Fang tribe got it. Marcus - CP3 - He had a "million dollar quote" when he said he was looking out for himself to the end. He is the one who suggested to replace Sugar with Matty if necessary. Matty - INV1 - Even though the official chart has his rankings as no tone, I've taken negative for him in both episodes (especially the first), so I just really don't think we're meant to like Matty or care about him much at all. Michelle - OTTNN4 - Flash boil #2. I think she deserves a NN rating far more than Corinne, because, despite the fact that Corinne was more vicious, Michelle targeted many more people. She was negative to as many people as she could be before getting voted out. Visibility is possibly an issue - she had almost none until the IC, and from then on her visibility was a 5+. Paloma - INV1 - Kiss of death? Why can't we see her more? If you wait too long to truly introduce her, we won't care about her. Randy - MOR2 - No negativity, just blunt honesty in dealing with Michelle/Corinne. Sugar - MORN2 - Definitely on the bad side of her alliance now. Current Chart * Please factor in your own ratings for Episode 3 for the following questions 1) Based on Edgic, which Survivor(s) do you think have the best chance of winning? 1. Ace - UTR2 (Ace is a schemer, but this a great cooldown for him. Despite his tribe going to tribal, we knew where he stood, and he and his new ally Corinne ended up getting their way. He was arrogant, but not deserving of an N) Bob - CPP3 (Bob was complex deciding to be the leader, as well as in the following confessional, talks at camp. I feel like this a necessary complexity though, and I still see him as too one dimensional and positive) Charlie - UTR2 (Quiet episode for Charlie. He's connected to the alliance, but is this just a cooldown or showing that Charlie isn't really connected to a winner's story?) Corinne - OTTN5 (Considered NN, but I think the reader knows that Michelle was just as N, so Corinne's N is understandable, but a bit over the top. I didn't see much complexity, as she was entirely one note) Crystal - MORP4 (She may have been Mixed, but I like P. I think MOR suits her better then a CP. Crystal is very visible, and is really the voice of Kota, despite being a boot target) Dan - MORP4 (He's positve, he's very visible. Possibly CPP, but I doubt it as his postivity is becoming one note, and we didn't get in his head nearly enough) G.C. - MOR3 (G.C's story/edit seems to be narrator MOR character. He's just there) Gillian - OTTP5 (Debated PP, because Gillian was really one note- extremely positive. Gillian is defintely a player we are supposed to root for, but we all know she'll be voted out eventually for being weak) Jacquie - UTRP2 (Positive, UTR...that sums up Jacquie) Ken - CP4 (Debated N, M, and MOR. I honestly remember Ken being in the episode, but besides Michelle's complaints about him after the Reward, I forgot about him. Either this show's his true UTR game play, or he's just boring. After looking back, he was there, and he was complex) Marcus - MOR3 (Same old Marcus. Somewhat strategical. Rather boring/arrogant.) Matty - INV1 (I wanted him to be UTR1, but I do not remember Matty in this episode. Maybe I just forgot the opening, but if I cannot remember a player, he's invisible in my mind) Michelle - OTTN5 (She's listed as a 4 visibility, but SPV wise as well as her boot make her a five. This episode was all Michelle, and I'm not sure how Corinne ended up more visible, when we were constantly reminded why Michelle will lose) Paloma - INV1 (On the bright side she's defintely not winning!) Randy - UTR2 (Randy is looking as a dark horse kinda winner. He's insightful, and UTR. He's surrounded by distractions, when his character should make him one too. The recap pointing out his alliance with Ken may prove to be important to his arc) Sugar - MORM2 (I was annoyed by her, but at the end when she claimed to be alone, I could see sympathy.) Charlie: He still has the great first two episodes, and his scheming and thinking are that which a winner needs. He's slipping though due to a lack of a real story and the fact that he was pretty much missing from Fang's first trip to Tribal Council. 2. Randy: He has shown great insight. He's defintely a UTR Dark Horse. Only question is, will he become an OTT distraction like he did in the real show. 3. Ace: Ace is negative, but hasn't been as Negative as one would expect. He's strategic, and insightful. If he doesn't win, he will be a major player. 4. Marcus: He might be the only chance Kota has. Kota is defintely not as complex as Fang despite having more airtime. I see him going far, but I still think his edit is more of a mergetime boot. (Ken and Dan are also possible contenders, and Crystal might be too if you decided to throw us for a loop and have a highly visible, dominant winner) 2) Based on Edgic, which Survivor(s) do you think are not eligible to be the winner, and are therefore "eliminated?" I am pretty confident that a man will win this season, but right now the only players I will cross off are Paloma, Corinne, and Matty. They all have INV's. Jacquie is very close, being UTR and unimportant and having a questionable start. Bob and Gillian are too positive. Corinne is too negative and GC is just too bland. Crystal is highly visible, and Sugar is not developing into a player with winner potential. Still despite that tangent, I'll only eliminate Matty, Corinne, and Paloma! I'll probably comment sometime tomorrow afternoon and it's been a great story so far. I'm really hoping that Charlie/Dan/Paloma goes far and eventually wins -- it's my favorite alliance that I've seen you create. I really love all three people and characters in the fanfic, in the show, and in real life. I hope you get better! :)

Posts: 2800 (01/10/09 7:15 PM) Registered User Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	Thoughts during the episode -Interesting Jeff mentions in the recap that Fang is a tribe of strategic players vying for control of the game, potentially good for Fang's chances of having the winner. -Seems like the group of four is being torn in half, or in fourths at least, with Bob and Marcus wanting different people out next. -Fang's majority alliance is already looking like a disaster waiting to happen now that they made Corinne their fifth, so I'm starting to think they'll manage to be like casaya and somehow still stick together for the first vote at least. -I'm surprised it's Michelle getting the negative bitchy girl edit and not Corinne. Looks to me from the post RC scene at Fang that Fang is going to tribal council this episode. -I'm about to read the immunity challenge, and despite what I just said in the last line, I'm starting to wonder if Fang might pull off another win at the challenge, it would be a great way to surprise people having Kota win reward then lose the immunity challenge after Fang starts to look like a disunified nightmare. -Ok so Kota wins immunity. I'm starting to lean more towards Michelle going home after her confessional right before challenge about how she'd do really well in it, only to be clobbered by Crystal. Gillian's another possibility -So Ace says it was karma that Michelle did so bad at the challenge. Seems like everyone on reality shows is a buddist or hindu with how much karma gets mentioned, especially on the amazing race, it's like a requirement to get on the show. -Wow, Michelle out of nowhere targets Corinne?!? Yeah Michelle is definitely going home. -Dan and Charlie want to split their votes? That can often cause bad things to happen, like one of their 5 going home in a 4-3-2 vote. -Hmm, I'm still thinking it's Michelle going home heading into TC. -Wow, I never expected Corinne/Michelle to get that negative with each other at TC, they sure aren't holding anything back. -Wow, Michelle blames others besides Corinne for their fall into such chaos, and proves Corinne's point about her blaming everyone but herself for the problems that happen to her. She even said 'she needs to be locked up somewhere' great line. COMMENTS & QUESTIONS (A) What did you think of this episode? Please be as detailed as you can, wherever possible. Wow, what an awesome episode, definitely the best so far this season, I loved all of that Fang drama, though I started to see a loss for them early on after Michelle started to look like she was getting built up as a boot or decoy boot. The Kota scens were pretty good to, though I was surprised by Matty being pretty much INV this episode. It's kind of hard to think of what else to write here since I left to eat dinner right after finishing the episode and doing edgic ratings. I was surprised you had the ladies saying such nasty things about each other, even though I thought a fight seemed possible at TC, just not that nasty of one. But like you mentioned in the notes we saw that Corinne would really say stuff like that, especially with what she said to Sugar at the FTC in the real show. Oh and I hope you start to feel better soon GF, being sick isn't fun. (B) What was your overall favorite part of the episode? One other good thing about his chances I must say though, his game he's playing so far make my prediction of him winning as an underdog who comes from behind to win seem more plausible, I almost put him down as my preshow pick to win it all as an underdog, but decided against it since he seemed too likely to be a big obnoxious N villain instead) 4. Anything will help and will be greatly appreciated! COMMENTS & QUESTIONS (A) What did you think of this episode? Please be as detailed as you can, wherever possible. I didn't like it as much as the previous two (over all though, I'm still intrigued to see where the story's going to go.) I know you wrote in your notes that you had to cut a lot from the episode, and I think it kind of showed. It seemed like Corinne joining the alliance happened super quickly. Why did Ace pick Corinne? And I really didn't understand why Dan/Charlie decided to throw 2 votes Gillian's way. I think hiding an alliance is easier if everyone is just voting for the same person, which is what would have happened anyway. Now everyone is just going to be even more suspicious about where the 2 votes came from. However, I guess you are the writer and it's more realistic to not have every scheme you write be a brilliant one, because they certainly aren't always brilliant on the show (e.g. Randy's "make everyone hate me and play Bob's idol that I'm not sure he has" strategy. HUH?!) Also, it was kinda hard watching Michelle commit game suicide. I know it's the same thing that happened on the real show, but it just made me uncomfortable. Why throw away your game like that? You are definitely right that neither real Michelle nor fanfic Michelle was cut out to play Survivor. I am thrilled that Michelle's self-induced death spiral spared Gillian though. Didn't care for her on the show, but I LOVE the fan fic Gillian. She's our underdog and I'm definitely rooting for her to keep dodging bullets. Also, great job writing for Crystal. You've got her down perfectly. I like her as much here as I did on the show. And I actually like the fic G.C. (B) What was your overall favorite part of the episode? Definitely Gillian on exile. Best trip to exile yet and I do like how vague the clues are. I hate it when people like Yul, Amanda, and Sugar are given such obvious clues. (C) What would you rate this episode out of 10? (1 being the lowest; 10 being the highest) Probably a 6. (D) Do you have any questions about this episode that you'd like to see cleared up in a future episode or at the Reunion Show? I dunno. I'm just not sure quite what happened with Michelle. It was entertaining and I think maybe Fang is just a successful clusterfuck like real Casaya was. 1. Please be as detailed as you can, wherever possible. - I finally got caught up! The first two episodes were great, and I think this may have been even better. Drama, drama everywhere. I'm glad there was more to Fang this time, instead of just the tribe that wins. Seeing their breakdown was really fun and entertaining, and I liked the battle of the bitches Michelle and Corinne. I think Kota's first victory was a little easy to predict, but the extra events at Fang made up for that. I actually thought that Kota had more story this episode that would provide for another boot, but Fang losing the IC was a nice surprise. But that will carry over into the next episode and the Sugar/Crystal/Matty boot will still be up for discussion. It looks like Corinne will be self-destructing next episode, but I'd really like her to stay in the game longer for the entertainment value. You've captured her character well and I really enjoy her. She may not be the most likeable, but she could easily be my favorite character. (B) What was your overall favorite part of the episode? - Corinne's rant at TC (C) What would you rate this episode out of 10? (1 being the lowest; 10 being the highest) - 10. After the IC and through TC was great, and the Kota scenes were exciting too. Being the first episode I've been able to comment on, it definitely makes me even more excited for the next! 1. G.C. (This is a really strong feeling I have. I almost put Charlie ahead of him, but I think G.C. has a better story so far. You have not had an African American winner in any of your stories, and if you do take demographics into consideration, G.C. or Crystal are strong contenders, also considering this takes place in Africa. It has been brought up how these two are in Africa, and it would be fitting for one of them to win. I could only think G.C. because Crystal is a HUGE distraction. I really like what you have done with her, but unfortunately I don't think she has a chance.) 2. Charlie (In an episode where Fang is shown as a crazy tribe, Charlie is left out, either meaning he's not important, or you don't want him associated with this bad image. I think it is the latter, and Charlie's first two episodes support his chances of winning as well. He is involved in strategy, but isn't so much of a distraction like so many other strategic characters. If a Fang wins, I think it will be Charlie.) 3. Marcus (A little boring, but I like him more in your fanfic than I did on the show, but I think a lot of that had to do with him being so obvious as a winner that I was getting sick of him. An UTR first episode isn't terrible, especially considering his Episode 2. If Kota goes to TC next episode, I predict him to be a big character involved with strategy, so a semi-cooldown this is good for him.) 4. Crystal (It would be strange to see such a huge character as a winner, but I think she has a lot of opportunity for a great story. Sometimes I think if you can come up with a good story, fitting an edgic guideline isn't always as important. Crystal is such a great character and she offers a lot to work with, and you have done an amazing job with her. As much as I don't think she'll win, I think it's hard to hide Crystal, which is why she has a big edit. I hope she gets some sort of a cooldown so edgic can back her up, but no one else stands out to me as a winner, while Crystal does. I would rank her higher if not for her visibility, but I don't think she is completely out of the running.) 2) Based on Edgic, which Survivor(s) do you think are not eligible to be the winner, and are therefore "eliminated?" Corinne, Gillian, Jacquie, Paloma Awesome job GF! I really am happy with what you've done with all the characters. My only complaint is Paloma. For some reason, I've always seen her as a sweetheart-type character and I wish she was edited as such. Sadly, she's just not meant to be I guess. Everyone else is being shown the way I think they should be, so you are doing a great job overall. Keep it up, and I look forward to reading the next episode! I'm wondering if she could be the 4th place boot (your 4th placers are either "big characters" or UTRs, and you've had 3 UTR characters in a row, so perhaps it's time for a change). If Gillian doesn't come in 4th, Paloma or Jacquie will come 4th in the UTR role. 2) Crystal will make it far into the game as well (I predict that she'll jump ship post-merge, especially if G.C. has been voted out). She is at the bottom of the Kota totem-pole, and she could easily gain some ground with the Fang tribe. * COMMENTS & QUESTIONS (A) What did you think of this episode? Charlie or Randy have the best edit, I hope Charlie doesn't end up being the Merge boot/Winner distraction.

I'm not feeling 100% better, but I feel well enough today to start reading through and replying to some of the comments, so I will do that now. Paloma: Before that, one thing I want to reply to is about Paloma because a lot of people have been mentioning her. There is an episode coming up very soon where she all of a sudden becomes a very big character, but up until that point, she stays very very low visibility. There's a few reasons that explain the strangeness of her edit (the most invisible person I've ever written so far in any seasons), but it will not stay this way much longer.

Very nice to hear this - I wasn't sure how this one would go over, but I definitely agree with your highlights. Thanks for your predictions and for filling out the Popularity Poll! Ace - 5 (Fizzled out this ep) Yeah, Corinne had 2-3 episodes in the real show where she almost disappeared and Ace sortof does this, but not as invisible as she was. Ace will still get a few villain-type confessionals even when he's low visibility. Dan - 5 (Kinda boring) Trust me that he gets better. Gillian - 10 (<3 her spunky attitude) Glad that she has jumped up to the top of the popularity poll. Paloma - 6 (More of her please!) You still have to wait a little bit longer, but I promise that very soon she will have a huge episode and then her edit will become very different after that.
