Unfortunately, no--I remember really looking forward to it, and then when it was announced that CBS wouldn't allow Rich to host SNL, I figured they would
at least do a sketch about that. But I don't think there was even a Survivor mention in the beginning of the '00-'01 season, let alone an entire
skit. Maybe there was a Weekend Update line though.
There was a TV Funhouse bit that took the audio from an Early Show interview with Bryant Gumbel and--I want to say Kimmi. Bryant is so annoyed by the fact that he has to interview a reality show contestant and tries several ways of committing suicide. There was also a Weekend Update joke about Kathy peeing on John's hand later on. And in a special on SNL in the 80s, Julia Louis-Dreyfus compared forming bonds with the writing staff to get airtime to making alliances on Survivor.
Eminem's "Without Me" video includes cameos from Jenna Lewis and Lindsey Richter in a brief Survivor parody.
The Office: Dwight tries to form an "alliance" with Jim, who tells Pam that he thinks it has to do with Survivor.
30 Rock: Not a direct reference, but the secretary is named Cerie, and her fiancee was named Aras. Too close to be coincidental.
There's a hysterical Curb Your Enthusiasm episode where Colby plays himself and is brought as a guest to a dinner with a Holocaust survivor, and they try and one-up each other to see who had it harder. Classic.
