Ok, I loved Hairspray - it was like a big gay wet dream - but Nikki Blonsky was easily the weakest member of that entire cast. Voice = great. Acting = awful.

I'm torn on the nominations this year. I love the fact that Damages, Tudors, Michael C Hall, Big Love, and Pushing Daisies all got honors, but look at all
the shitty things nominated. Greys Anatomy SUCKED last season-even the hardcore fans were disappointed. The show is old and boring with nothing new. Lost got
majorly snubbed-they had groundbreaking stuff happen on its last season. That was a complete bullshit. What's also bullshit is the missing KRISTEN
CHENOWITH nomination. She makes Pushing Daisies! Oh, and is anyone else besides me sick of that twig Kyra Sedgwick? I wish she'd go in a hole and rot.
And sad about Ryan and Rachel. I'll never be able to watch The Notebook again. |

Ugh. I like most of these noms (BIG YAY for Donald Sutherland), but when the hell will people stop associating Grey's Anatomy with quality programming?
It's like Melrose Place getting a nomination for Best Drama. And there are at least 5 other women who Katherine Heigl should be sending a mini-muffin
basket to for stealing their spots.

THE TUDORS was good, but DEXTER, SLEEPER CELL and BROTHERHOOD were all better. BIG LOVE season 2 was better than THE TUDORS IMO.

Dexter really deserved a Best Drama nomination over all of those nominees. And I'm tired of Katie Heigl. Miss Oh should've been nominated.
I'm happy with the Movies nods mostly, except with the randomness of "The Great Debaters" and other shit over Into the Wild. |
