I loved the recent ep where the kids go on individual trips with their parents. Great idea. I hope they make it a regular occurrence. Kids love and need individual attention from their parents.

I freaking love this show. Last night I saw an older episode that I hadn't seen before. The girls were potty-training, and one of them (Hannah?) pooped
in the potty. Kate made her pose with her poop and went on and on about how she loved taking such pictures. She lamented because she missed the
first-poop-in-the-potty pictures of one or both twins. Is it just me, or is that messed up as hell? She was sure to get the actual poop in the photo.
I'm all for positive reinforcement, but please. And the funny thing to me was that on my DVR, the episode summary was something like "The girls learn
bathroom hygiene." By crouching and posing with their poop?!?! They didn't touch it, but still...

My 11 yr old son turned to me during the poop episode and said, "Thank you for not taking pictures of me like that."

My kids and I love to watch Jon & Kate - especially when they run the marathon blocks of the older episodes. I also liked that they were doing individual trips with the kids. Upon seeing this, one of my kids asked if we could start doing this, too. |

Jon made fun of joels speech for the second episode in a row lol. It almost seems mean but ofcourse hes only joking. I love Aunt Jodie. I wish I had an aunt
like that when I was little.

This episode of the kids trips was way less interesting...Hannah was so shy and Aaden really didnt seem to enjoy his, he liked the painted cow more than the
real ones. Why take a kid who loves all animals to a dairy farm where he will just see cows?
Next week's should be good because Alexis is going to a reptile farm to feed alligators and Collin goes to a train museum. And Jon seems to make fun of Joel a lot, last week he kept saying how Joel was "abnormally attached" to him...poor Joel. |

maybe a little girly, although hes only three, so hell probably grow out of it. lol

The kids are there to entertain us. I think being away from the others was hard for them. They didnt know what to do.
On a personal note, I can not think of a time when my sister sat down and played with my neice |

When the kids each have their individual day, both parents go with the girls but the mom has yet to go along when any of the boys have their day. Nice.

I think this was the cutest episode I've ever seen of this show. Alexis was adorable with the aldagaters and same with Collin and the trains. They both
actually were into it and were talking like crazy (unlike Hannah and Aaden last week).
I loved when Collin was excited to go on to the trains, he said he had to hug and kiss his siblings so they wouldnt cry |

I loved last night's episode. Collin & Alexis were definitely into their trips. Collin hugging and kissing his siblings was too cute.
Maddy was in rare form at Aunt Jodi's. It must suck to have the camera's catch everything you do to your siblings. I loved how she accidentally kicked Aaden. |

I think Aaden got ripped off on his trip. Collin and Alexis didn't seem to mind being separated from the others. Hannah was so introverted at on her day.
Can't wait to see Mady's day with mom and dad.

I also loved the scene with one of the girls falling asleep at the dinner table because she hadn't had her nap.

I have to watch as well, I don't know why exactly.
I have to agree that Jon "couldn't hide his misery if he tried", but I think it is mostly due to the overwhelming responsibility. I see what alot of you are saying about Kate, I see it too. I want to give her a break just because of what she endures in a day. And, If I was as vivacious, and attractive as Kate was at one time, And aged like she has, I would be bitchy too! PS I used to think Amy was a total bitch to Matt on Big World, but he needs someone to tell him to slow down once in a while. |

Taking the kids alone and having some of them act like they don't know what to do reminds me of my puppy who does the same thing if she isn't with the
other dogs. It is sweet.

I watched a few of the old episodes tonight that I'd never seen before, the best part though was the following scene:
Mady: Joel, are you a boy or a girl? Joel: Girl! I'm daddy's girl! Kate: Jon, did you hear that? Joel just said he is a girl. Jon: No. Joel, you are a boy. Joel: No I'm daddy's girl Jon did not look happy at all and said Joel sometimes gets confused about his gender |

Eh, he's three. My friend's nephews called her "Uncle Carrie" when they were little until they saw her going in the hot tub one day. Then it was like "Uncle Carrie, you're a girl?!"" |

I <3 Mady. She was a riot in the episodes tonight. The best part was when she was asking Kate about if its wrong to accidentally stab someone with a pencil,
with this crazed look in her eyes
You have to love Aunt Jodie, but she isnt the sharpest tool in the drawer...I cant belive she would really give 6 three year olds gum. I felt bad for Collin when Kate was saying she was going to throw away his teddy bear and he said teddy bear was his buddy. Also Kate should know better than to bring a teddy bear out in public for a 7 year old, that was an obvious embarassment moment. The sad thing is this show has become my favorite show I think, I look forward to it more than most any other show. |
