Sometimes when I've watched this show, I think I've noticed a kind of assy side to Jon. He'll start to say something mean about one of the kids, and Kate will cut him off. Anyone else notice this?

I only notice him doing it to the boys, but he can be really harsh on them. Doesn't really do it with the girls, but he really does like to make fun of the boys in their interviews, especially Joel.

Its funny that the one jon has refered to as his little buddy is the one he seems to be the hardest on. Jon has made fun of joels speech many times. He also seems to get annoyed with joel alot. I think joels really sensitive and cries alot which annoys jon. We also hardly ever see jon and collin interacting in a positive manner, usually its jon sending him to time out or yelling at him. Collins special day is one of the only positive interactions between the two that I can think of. Whats really interesting is that in one of the first jon and kate episodes that played recently (it may have been a special episode before the series began), kate had said that collin was jons baby and that they were really close! Maybe they still are, but we havent seen it.
