Most Americans incomes aren't coming from parading their kids around to TV cameras. I'm just curious about the deal they made with TLC for that house---cause there must have been one. Both parents insist that the house is "for the kids" so the next question is, is a part of the kids savings going to pay for that house? We can blame the Gosslins for a lot, but the recession isn't one of them! : )
The sucess of the current show wasn't due to Kate alone, she was just part of the toxic duo that spawned the aw, sextuplets and it was those baby loving going ga ga adults that got that show off and running. I think those folks dropped out when it became the watch Kate degrade Jon and see how long before he snaps and pops her in the kisser. People just tuning in due to all the tabloid coverage find it boring and Kate a ham constantly mugging for the camera. I was told she doesn't seem to address the kids but will address the camera person and often turns towards the camera and does eye rolls if the kids try to get her attention. I've also heard two rumors of shows that she's been offered (not sure if either is true) one was that she was going to co-host a cook show with Paula Deen and the other was some organic restaurants around the world show. Then she also has talked about having her own talk show and thus the invite to the View was a test run for that and most recently wants to do the big screen and or be a cartoon voice.
Way back in the day when I caught some of this show Kate came across as a witch with a capital B with poor grammar and a made up vocab. There's been a zillion people that have real talent but when they attempted talk shows had epic fails.
All the above to say essentially she bought that expensive house that is uber expensive to keep up but too much for her to care for with out hired help but she seems to believe to the bottom of her back heart that she is going to be always in demand and everything she touches will turn to gold. I'm not sure what it would take for her to wake up and realize she is only special in that she managed to have 6 healthy children at one time.
