Mady's "excessively special day" (which aired yesterday after the new episode) probably gave her an excessively special stomach ache. Seriously.
I can't believe Jon and Kate let her get that huge hamburger, fries, a milk shake AND the chocolate mud pie for dessert. Particularly since the kids
aren't used to eating like that. One dessert or the other would have been fine, IMO, but that was just too much. I don't remember any of the other
kids getting so many treats on their "special days."

I think it was the kids that didn't want a big party. And the cupcake day wasn't their birthday (according to the show). The cupcake field trip was
just a special birthday thing, but not their actual birthday

I can't watch this show anymore after seeing a few episodes. I'm just keeping up with the Kate hate through this thread. Her meltdown over the gum
was too much. She screams right into the poor kids' faces. "It's ORGANIC peanut butter!!" I'm thinking, get your ass to Sam's Club
and buy some jumbo jars of Jif, bitch!

So I was a bit confused about the origin of the gum incident. They clearly showed Jody asking the kids if gum was ok, the kids saying yes, and Jody and
handing a piece to each of them. But when Kate narrates it after her call to Jody she says Jody said she caught them with gum and just allowing them to keep
it (hence Kate's comment "I would have gone around to each one of them and had them spit it out into my hand.") Did Jody lie to Kate? I
can't see why she would purposefully lie since she knew it was all caught on film. She knew she would have to suffer Kate's wrath.
I suppose it could have been a combination of the two stories e.g. some of the kids got into the gum then Jody found out because others wanted it so she doled out gumballs to the rest of them. Anyone? |

The cupcake episode was my absolute boiling point with this woman.
First off, who decided no carnival? yea, I thought so. The cupcakes were a GREAT idea that she turned into some horrible experience. I'm sure those boys never got to eat their cupcakes, by the way. She let them sit and WATCH the girls? That is just mean shit. And how was it that Leah had all that food left yet she got a cupcake for "trying"? Fuck I just can't take Kate. I just can't. |

I think the cupcake thing was something the producers cooked up for the birthday. On their real birthday, if you can believe the blogs, they went to Bounce U
(where Leah had her special day) and out to dinner. And it was Hannah who got to eat her cupcake after Mady fed her a few bites. Now I'm beginning to think
the producers are putting Kate in situations that will make her freak out the most.

i think Mady is obviously Kate's favorite child by farOh, I think Hannah's her favorite. In nearly every episode, the kid is hanging on her or sitting in her lap while the other little kids just watch. Kate tells us repeatedly - and in front of the other kids - that Hannah is mommy's helper and the leader and she folds laundry and gee, she's just fucking perfect. (I call bullshit on the leader label. The kids don't seem to need a leader, that's just Kate favoring her little helper) There was one time when Hannah walked by Collin and smacked him on the head. He started to shriek and all Kate said was "Oh Hannah, don't do that." If any other kid had done it? There would have been hell to pay. After they returned home from Mady's day, Mady was showing off her earrings to her sisters and Kate said "What do you think, Hannie?" Never mind the fact that both Cara and Alexis were standing there, too. Their opinions don't count. Only mommy's helper counts! No wonder Kate favors her. Kate loves control and poor Hannah is her blank slate. |

for us so we could have the place to ourselves." We wouldn't want the children to mingle with anyone else.

I just watched the episode where Jon was putting the kids big beds together and Kate was absolutely flipping out because Jon wouldn't stop so she could put
them down for a nap......
Let the man finish, no one will die if they don't nap and like he said put them downstairs for their nap..... unless she was going to finish putting them together she should have shut up and let him get the job done... I loved at the end after Jon had worked his ass off all day putting beds together and moving all the furniture into the rooms.... then is giving the kids their shower before bed... she sits on one of the beds and says how tired she is.... I'm sure watching him work and bitching at him constantly were extremely tiring... |
