Ya.. I don't get the "Jon is lazy" angle at all.

I've watched all the episodes from the beginning and Jon (according to the editing of the show) does 80% of the hands on work with the children. He is the only one to bathe and dress them. Kate does NOT do that chore. At most she would pick the clothing and prepare 1 or 2 meals a day when she is there, (which isn't often) all the while belittling and demeaning Jon and the kids.

As a mom of one and a former live in aunt to three, the weekend mom to my god daughter, plus babysitting my roommates child, I took care of 6 children under the age of 5 for the first 3-5 years of their lives. I know what it's like to feed, diaper, bathe and clothe many children and it's REALLY difficult. Jon does it all with love and patience, which could not have been easy when you have a controlling, bitching shrew calling all the shots.

I agree. Jon is anything but lazy.He is the one you always saw dressing the kids, bathing all 8 ,playing with them etc while Kate ordered him around then proceeded to emascualte him over and over because he didn't do things to her standards.
Kate can't do much without help.Every time you see her cooking Jon has to "take these kids" so she can work.
She considers playing with the kids sitting in her driveway barking orders at whatever help she has that day at the kids.Jon is actually fun with them.
But to the person who said Jon probably had to empty the potties I have to give Kate credit -she did take pics of the kids next to their poop ! Psycho.
She's a controlling emascualating bitch and she had to know what she was doing to their marriage.No man will put up with that shit forever.I think Jon was submissive to keep peace and now he's done.Who can blame him ?
Jon will not abandon his kids as much as the shrew will make it seem that way.
