I'm very dismayed to report that Rock Band 2 actually kinda sucks, at least for solo players. Rather than fix the few imperfections in the RB1 gameplay, they instead decided to remove features that had no drawbacks, like Solo Tour, and they did their best to make the scoring as confusing as possible. Although you can copy over your DLC and nearly all the RB1 songs, you can't transfer your profile, characters or scores. Would that have been so difficult? You have to play in band tour mode for your scores to count, or to play with your character, which means playing the same songs over and over again in the setlists. If the tracklist weren't so awesome (and I've only unlocked about a third of it) I'd be pretty fucking unhappy; I would much rather have paid $60 for those songs as a DLC bundle. GHWT is on the way and it'll be my first GH game.
