I never "got" the mega man series. It is SO friggin' difficult to the point that finishing a single level could take days. I always got stuck at
points that simply seemed impossible, and i stopped playing

Mega Man X was pretty good too, but X2 took it to a new level, and X4 is the best of all the MM games imo, horrible voice acting and all. X3 was the best
looking of SNES series, but the stages were way too short. The game as a whole felt like filler, but it was fun to play and it had some of my favorite bosses
(Blast Hornet, Neon Tiger).
I don't know what happened after X5. The series dropped the ball and never recovered. |

OK!
I got Mega Man 9 last night!!!! I beat all of the robot masters in about an hour and a half with just the mega buster and I'm gonna start the Wily stages today! *excited* I thought that Magma Man was the hardest boss (but I think I got him figured out on my last try) and that Jewel Man had the hardest stage (ugggh, I died about 5 times trying to make that one jump through the spikes off of that swing). I killed Galaxy Man on the first try so I guess he was the easiest for me. Splash Woman wasn't too difficult either. Galaxy Man has the best stage music, but I also liked Jewel Man's stage music. Overall, I am lovin this game. |

Metal Gear Solid 4 is a freakin' amazing game. I played it nonstop for a couple days until I beat it. Anyone who has a PS3 or is a fan of the series should
check it out, unless you hate watching lots of cutscenes.
Next up is Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. I downloaded the demo and it was really kewl. |

and that Jewel Man had the hardest stage (ugggh, I died about 5 times trying to make that one jump through the spikes off of that swing). That spike-covered room where you have a pendulum and you have to swing it hard enough to fall through the small pit beneath, is the work of Satan. Well.....it was initially. I've done the stages 50 times by now so I got the hang of it. Though I have to admit even after 50 times I still use Rush Jet to get through the spinners in the rain on Tornado man's level. That part just pisses me off. It's already hard enough to jump from one spinner to the other, but here you also have the rain that pushes you backward when you're jumping. The Wily stages however, are pure evil. The underwater section in Wily stage 2 makes me wanna break stuff just like when I was a kid. All that's missing is my mom yelling "GO PLAY OUTSIDE!!!!!!!!!!!" and voilĂ ! It would be my childhood all over again. Oh and PuPa, if you've finished the game, read this and help me, if not, avoid. |

I finished beating the 8 Robot Masters for MM9 yesterday, this week I'll do the Wily Castle.
Tornado Man's stage annoyed me the most. I'm glad to hear other people die left and right figuring out stages. I liked the X series, and I loved X4 where you could play as Zero and X. X1 is the best to me though. The bosses are all memorable and fun to fight and I like that you can get upgrades in stages. I wish they'd put that up for download on the Wii |

The first Silent Hill creeped me right the fuck out, but I don't think I ever played 2 or 3. Are they any good?

I only found pics of 5 of the robot masters in MM9.
Tornado Man and Splash Woman look stupid. Plug man's cool, but if he was navy blue, he'd be better. Granite Man and Magma Man are just okay. |

I meant the section that has one spiked wall and a spiked ceiling and the extra life in the section of the floor (which I have no idea how to get). Hornet Chaser. Yeah, that jump I just let the pendulum barely swing, step on the edge, and do a really small quick jump, by quickly tapping the button but not all the way through. Thanks for the egg thingy, I'll have to try again. Though I'm not sure but I think that by using the hornet chaser, it immidiately hits the egg and bounces it off without you even having to jump and aim. My problem with the buster, is that I successfully shoot the egg, it bounes on him then bounces back on me but that's when I have no space left to hit it again, so it just falls on me. |

I just got MM9. Dear lord, this game is difficult. I cheated, though, and looked at the boss order online. Probably won't help, though, considering I need
lives and screws, and that won't happen in the boss order I chose. At least not immediately.
