Oh my heck, look who it is! It's the guy who is better than Kelly Clarkson! I just had to throw that in. Kurt is arguably the best idol ever and the fact that he was one of the first shows his staying power. He has a incredible voice and I think will be a even bigger success in years to come. I'm still kind of surprised he didn't become more popular in the U.S after World Idol, but I don't think many people wathed that anyways. You will be seeing a bunch more of Kurt, but here's the first.
67.Ben Mckenzie - Wonderwall (Australian Idol 5)
I love Ben, I really do. His voice was so different then the stuff you usually hear. Kind of James Bluntish. But even more impressive than that was his way to change a song and make it his own. And that once again shows how great Australian Idol is. We saw people like Chris Sligh and Blake try to be that way this season on American Idol and be totally hit or miss, but Australia gets such great artists on their shows that their arrangments of classic songs are a whole new experience and a joy to watch. Ben was robbed and went out way too early. He should be in the finals up against Matt right now.
