As for being anti-religious, hardly. I'm was born into a Roman Catholic family and went through the process of becoming one growing up so I am Roman Catholic, and I'll admit right now that I do believe in God. I don't completely agree with the church's teachings so if that makes me a bad Catholic then oh well. Anti-religious though I am not.

As for spouting religious propaganda I didn't mean that her singing a gospel song was religious propaganda. Sing about how much you love Jesus all you want. Melinda sang gospel songs on the show too. Just don't condemn people's lifestyles and force what you perceive to be Jesus' beliefs on other people. Say that Jesus didn't approve of gays all you want but a)don't do it on American Idol and b)don't act like everyone else should start nodding their head in agreement and start condemning homosexuals just because you believe in Jesus and say it's wrong.

I'm anti-religious fundamentalists who think they can shove their beliefs down people's throats. I'm also anti-hate of any group based on their race, religion, sexual preference etc.
