Im not anti challenge throwing. I think if its the best move to make to better your position in the game then you take it. That goes for throwing challenges
and anything else

the intention is definitely admirable!it was actually considered in ep1 btwn jaime & myself(ashley/chicken?!?)...moral priority PREVAILED. I am glad
conviction to win won over self-indulgence!!!it's not the intention but the DELIVERY which shows the inept & unreachably immature/egotistical side of
my tribe."bossy" is a REACTIONARY p.o.v. to the amount of times i had to REMIND them of what were DAILY chores as a TRIBE.(i.e., BUY A F*%KIN'
CLUE.) i SAW that; AND i thought my was actually SMARTER than that. i am still a minority of one and learning the lessons that come with that. and i REFUSE to
roll over just to be accepted. i have "lost" ALOT of fianancial/material gain because of that attitude[my integrity is still intact.] i figure
it's roughly a 1:60 ratio of conscious editing time; "you" are a bigger person by COMPREHENDING that/ACCEPTING the fact you did NOT make the
show(i've seen a few of your backgrounds; don't hate the player, hate the game.and GET A LIFE for pete's sake.)

The fact is that every season of Survivor has new people, new dynamics and a new game. What was a bad move in other seasons could turn out to be a good move in
this season because there are no set consequences as they change each season. The consequences of a strategy depend on everything else that happens in the
season and how people react. IMO it's impossible to predict exactly how a move will eefect the players and the consequences of a move. Just because
throwing a challenge hasn't worked in Pearl Islands and Thailand doesn't mean it won't work in this season.

Hi Dave. Thanks for having the guts to show up here. I for one hated the way the throwing of the challenge was done/edited and I hated this twist about as much
as I hated Fiji's luxury/poverty twist seeing that it was mostly unfair and unnecessary. It should be interesting to see how this plays out and I hope you
at least got a decent trip out of it to make up for the loss of financial and material gain. That said, I'm rooting for Todd because I believe he's one
of the few this season that actually has it to overcome and adapt to anything the producers throw in the mix. If you get time, I'd like to hear your
opinions of him without giving away anything that would spoil how he does. I make a conscious effort avoid spoilers. Thanks.

I wouldn't go that far, OC. I think 027huds makes an excellent point. In this situation, it was being done for a strategical reason. The investment in the
original alliance was deemed of more value than the possible chance of hooking up with one of the newcomers. Had for example both newcomers felt themselves to
be outcasts in the other tribe, perhaps the desire to throw the challenge would have been harder to justify in ZH's own minds. With James declaring his
main allegiance to the other tribe, it wasn't going to be possible to form a new alliance with all of you. It sucked for you, but looking objectively, I
can understand why the move was made.
Welcome to Sucks, Dave. |

6666 is now in OT!
AMAI... ever since I played a game of Risk when everyone threw a challenge in favor of one player to kick my ass is when I'm wholly anti-throwing challenges. So... don't call me blind, sir. |

Throwing challenges to get rid of the enemy (ala China and what the guys should've done in Vanuatu) I think is strategically necessary. That is if you're going to play the game to get as far as you can, rather than pansy around and play the game "as it should" be played. Summary: I'm pro challenge throwing in the China scenario. |
