The instant packets don't have enough in them to make one bowl, if memory serves. I buy the round Quaker Oats container - the quick (one minute kind). Why
would someone wait longer if it can be done in one?
Anyone else like Red River porridge?!!! Never heard of it. What is it? Besides porridge.

I think TC might be right, Loki. These B vitamins are added to what I just had- NIACINAMIDE*, VITAMIN A PALMITATE, REDUCED IRON, PYRIDOXINE HYDROCHLORIDE*, RIBOFLAVIN*, THIAMIN MONONITRATE*, FOLIC ACID*. The % of daily nutirients is also higher than with just oats. Downside- a preservative, and some splenda. |

It's been awhile since I bought the single serve packets. I eat plain long cooking oatmeal almost every morning! Sometimes I put berries or walnuts on it. No milk or sugar, yuck.
