Jean-Marc is a horrible judge. He's a good choreographer but a horrible judge. Very difficult to understand, and when you do understand him, it's not worth hearing. Yes but you forget this is now in Canada, where we are bilingual and are used to the french-canadian accent. You should hear our opposition party leader Stephane Dion speaking. I married a french canadian and I barely comprehend Stephane. I think Jean Marc is a bit too animated for my taste, but meh. Re Blake: I'm surprised he's still involved with the show, as he's never come back and is never mentioned. Maybe they can have him dance on the American show again next season, for a guest appearance. He was a phony, arrogant, pretentious ass, but you couldn't take your eyes off him when he danced.Agreed, loved to watch him dance, and hate to hear him talk, and this judging thing is all about him critiquing others. I do not believe that he will be able to keep his ego separate from his judging duties. BTW.. Tre looks like a stunning woman, hopefully she will be a fair and critical judge. This might be a train wreck, but at least the judges get to choose who is eliminated up to the top 10, and somewhat avoid the regional voting that seems to follow Canadian reality tv shows. Still I guarantee a young man will win this show. The one thing this show stresses is that it is Canada's favorite dancer, and not necessarily the best dancer. |

Blake was a judge on the Pussycat Dolls show a few weeks ago. I can't remember much about him. The problem with Blake is he seems to think the arrogant
persona is what he needs to sell to people. Maybe he won't be as fake as a judge. Hopefully not as fake as his pal Brian Friedman, who thankfully no longer
judges SYTYCD.

Ya saw Blake on Girlicious judging the pairs dance competition.
He and that bitchy overglossed choreographer they have on Girlicious were just TOO much together..big UGH! |

Hmm looks like they added Dan Karaty to the list of judges for SYTYCD Canada.
Melissa Williams is the name of the judge on the left, and Tre Armstrong is one of the main judges for the show. |

I had suspicions this was going to be bad when it was announced last fall. Those suspicions solidified more when it was announced that Jean Marc and Blake
(!!!) were judging. It's all been but confirmed as a train wreck since Dan was announced as a judge/choreographer last month. Although I will be
pleasantly surprised if it comes anywhere near the Australian and US versions.
Happy trails, Canadians! |

They are advertising heavily for this show and it's fall debut. I hope I hope I hope this is not Canadian Idol level and actually has some world class
dancers able to compete.
And a bit of a bite here in a clip from Blake McGrath apparently at least one guy and one girl from Vancouver are standouts: Blake and the Vancouver Audition So you think you can dance Canada |

The head judge Tre with auditioners in T.O.
Some gold tickets winners in Montreal. Some very hot looking prospects here: |

SYTYCD Canada commercial (sorry for the poor quality) from last nights US finale. The video is very well done, and makes me hopeful that this show will put the
$ into a decent production. Blake McGrath in top hat and lead dancer in the video. I am wondering if his back up dancers might be part of the top 20.

The fact that Blake is in it completely turned me off.

Tre Armstrong looks like she will be my favorite judge, but time will tell. I also am thinking that Tre is dancing in the commercial with Blake. What a
novel concept, having actual working dancers judging routines.

I'm actually looking forward to this. I really enjoyed Australia. Hopefully, there's no agenda attached and it plays out, you know, organically.

When does this start and where can I watch it if I live in the US?

The promos still say September. You'll probably end up having to download/youtube the episode if you wanna follow.

Still no date for the show!?

I put September 24th in my calendar, but I'm not sure where I got that date from. I'll make a note if I see it again.

Thinking about the fact that SYTYCD in the US follows IDOL the week after it's finale. I would guess CTV might follow suit, and place SYTYCD Canada the
week following the nation's misery ending finale of Canadian Idol.
Anyone know the finale date for Can Idol? |

The finale date for Can Idol should be like September 9/10 or September 15/16, something like that. It ends around mid Sept usually.
The F4 will be 1 Newfie, 2 Albertans and an Ontarian, trust. Oh and I wanna watch this but Leah Miller hosting makes me want to shoot myself repeatedly in the heart. I hate that fucking bitch. She sucks as a host and she's a vain, annoying, stupid, bitch. |
