THANK YOU!! I thought that was kinda the whole point until someone else said Besh had been on Iron Chef like he was the only one.

I liked Sanchez, poor baby. Fluffed it royally. So I finally saw the most recent eppie. And as has been said (by myself, among others), that young judge is
just ANNOYING. What a brat! "Do you even know the way a lobster roll is supposed to be served?" I thought I was watching a rich kid in their third
grade class.

I truly love me some Besh (anyone see him go up against Paula in some wack FN contest? Too fun), but Symon is so damn entertaining too and he would be more
versatile on the show. I'll be happy whoever wins....

More Sanchez LOVE! I find Besh boyishly charming and Symon funny and likeable. It's one of the few shows in recent memory where I don't dislike one
finalist more than the other. Can you say Top Chef? I do hate, though, that fucking little snot who took out my Sanchez!

If you're ever in Cleveland, make sure you go visit one of Symon's restaurants...Lola or Lolita. He cooks mostly at Lola though.

Anyone who's known for their pervasive use of bacon has my vote. I live a few hours south of Cleveland so I'll definitely be making a special trip to
dine at Lola. Symon FTW!!!

I really like this show. These are all fantastic, well respected chefs who have enough confidence to not trash each other.
It's been nice to see them all get along and make it about the food. I think Symon and Besh are both fantastic, but Symon just seems like he'd be great on Iron Chef. I do love to listen to Besh talk though. Hawt. |

cginspace wrote: X I thought he was obnoxious before, but the way he spoke to Donatella was just uncalled for. As if she's just somebody they pulled off the street, with no credentials or respectability within the food world. He's just rude. The other guy judge is such a snob too. I don't know if it has been mentioned, but when he eats, he always has this look on his face like he smells something bad. |

He must be related to Blonde Rachel from America's Most Smartest Model....
And I'm kinda all about the BESH love. His food looks nicer and more like the kind of stuff I would want to wrap my lips around. |

Lobster rolls are gross. Why would you ruin perfectly good lobster?

Glad to see I'm not the only one with a little crush on Besh.
I'm still all about Symon, though I wish they could both win. |

Awesome!
I like that they had the Iron Chefs judge the dishes. |

They almost fooled me with the editing. Except on ICA they do this kind of editing all the time. For me, it felt like Besh tried to do too much. I think he'd been better skipping the dessert and cutting back on that sixth dish. What I loved the best is all the talk of sous vide. It reminds me how bitter the other Top Chef contestants were about Hung using it when clearly Hung is riding the wave of what is new and now in cooking. Back on topic, I'm glad that Symon won (and that spoilers were true) Besh always annoyed me just enough to not want to see him stick around |
