I think I was a tad bit disappointed to read that yesterday.

I found this really interesting article about the clues placed in Fringe episodes:
http://arstechnica.com/media/news/2009/04/secret-codes-in-tv-series-fringe.ars I hadn't noticed quite a few of those things, and I'll definitely be on the lookout when the show (finally) returns this month. |

Wow. That is an interesting read. If I had the time to try cracking the glyph code, I think I might go insane. The writer of that article has already
documented many failed approaches to it.

Thank God it's back! A terrific episode, and it finally made Olivia a likable character!

What the hell!
I thought it was supposed to be on. I turned on the tv at 8 and saw some lady screeching out a Donnie Darko song. So I was like fuck, must be next week, and turned off the tv. |

Nice attempt at "humor".
That little kid made me sad, but it was really interesting at the end when The Observer was standing there as he drove by. Walter was funny! |

omg, the show is actually back on the air again. yay. Never even occurred to me until the very end where they showed him that the kid could be connected to
that bald guy that's already showed up a few times. Perhaps he's from the future and thats what he looks like in the present? @_@
oh, and sorry, no matter how hard they try, this show still isn't anywhere close to the level of the X-Files, even in that show's first season. :P The show remains at the 'okay' level for me, but it still nowhere close to a must see show in my eyes and I still find little to like about Olivia.

nice eppy and loved all the stuff with the kid, but thought the whole resolution of "the artist" plotline was just kinda there. so they/the kid just
knew he'd pass through that intersection? then they chase him, kill him, bam, it's over. disappointing part of an otherwise good episode.

Anyone else recognize first Becky from "Roseanne" as the tattoo girl at the beginning?

This show benefited from the break, because I had entirely forgotten the Observer until he popped up at the end. That was a fabulous reveal. I agree that the Artist stuff was a bit cliche, but I'm willing to forgive it just because this show is back. And next week's episode looks totally amazing. |

The commercial glyphs seem to have spelled "WALTER" last night.

Perhaps he's from the future and thats what he looks like in the present?Maybe not because the CIA(?) guy said he found another one after visiting the kid the first time. It might be an experiment. If a person is trapped in the dark for so long and manage to live, he might develop some power to help him survive. And it might not be the same power for each person. |

Scoop: 'Fringe' beaming up Spock!Apr 8, 2009, 02:21 PM | by Michael Ausiello Categories: Fringe
After collaborating on his upcoming Star Trek reboot, Abrams has signed Leonard Nimoy to join the cast of his Fox baby, Fringe. The 78-year-old Trek icon will play William Bell, Walter Bishop's former lab partner-turned-millionaire founder of Massive Dynamic. "It was a delight to work with Mr. Nimoy on Star Trek," J.J. tells me. "The idea that he will play the mysterious, much-referenced William Bell is a thrill. I know I sound like a goofy fan boy, but I can't help it: Leonard is an icon of the genre and such a wonderful actor. To have him come on board Fringe is a mind-blowing honor." The character is slated to debut in next month's season finale and then return in the fall for an extended arc. |

I loved last night's episode and the fact that they're casting Leonard Nimoy in the show is awesome for me. :)
