Glavine made his career painting the black. So guess who wins there? This is not to absolve Glavine. He knows West very well. His poor W-L with West behind the plate bears that out. Glavine should have been pro enough to find a way to minimize the damage. I sat there at Shea watching West squeeze Glavine. I turned to my fellow fans and said...."Joe West" But no oned at Shea expected Glavine to have his shortest outing since 1989. |

has two years left.

I think Cordero lost about 2 million today by giving up those Home runs. I think he was literally pissed after the 2nd one in mop-up time.

Just got back from Cincinnati and had a great time. It was rather exciting watching the Iowa Cubs play Saturday's game and winning. I couldn't believe
the number of Cubs fans there. We certainly outnumbered the Reds fans. It was my first time at Great American Ball Park. I liked being able to walk around the
entire park.
Today the result didn't go our way but it didn't make any real difference. It seemed the Cubbie fans there still enjoyed themselves. I got a few pics of the pitchers as they came out of the dugout and signed autographs before the game. We got kicked out of the area before the rest of the team came out. Even though we weren't there on Friday to see the Cubs clinch the NLC Championship, it was well worth driving to Cincinnati to be a part of the celebrations the past two days. Almost forgot... congrats Star and reSha. I guess that 1969 Cubs team wasn't as bad as this year's Met's team.
