Let's be realistic here twisted. The Phillies surely will not win more than 115.

Is it too late to make my World Series predictions?
Want: Yankees over Nationals Feel: Yankees over Phillies Fantasy: Nationals over Royals |

Naw, this is baseball. It's too long a season with too many ups and downs to be cocky. I'm much more relaxed about it than football. I'm just going with the thread flow right now.

Is this the season I fully commit myself to being a Dodgers fan?
Since the Expos moved I've been kinda lost...and I haven't felt much love for the Nationals. |

Quote: Say what you will, but lets just hope the Cubs brass doesnt make the same mistake they made back in '92. Hendry has done a lot fot the team this offseason, but if something goes awry, and Big Z winds up a Yankee or Met or seomething in '08, Hendry will always be remembered as the douche bag that let one of the best pitchers of the generation go. |

Wood falls out of hot tub, will miss a few days. Can this guy EVER stay healthy?

Motherfuckers.
I think this might be even dumber than Sammy getting injured sneezing. Or he didn't actually fall in the hot tub and they're just making up shit to explain why he's not well enough to pitch at the start of yet another spring training. Please resign Carlos Zambrano asap, Spendry. tia. |

Re: 2007 MLB Season | ||

anything that happens to Wood is a moot point. He's starts off too shakey to be a closer and he can't go deep enough to be a starter.

I'll be watching the Cubs with less contempt this year - Lou's gonna scare people!
And the Devil Rays dropped their payroll this year. Of course that means pennant race. |

The Mets are elite right now. The Marlins are a better team. The Phils are looking like the 85 win, 3rd place team where Ryan Howard is their only real offensive production.
At least Atlanta will struggle and not compete. |

Hah. Fuck you idiot Cub fans who think you're going to win the Series. You think over 90 years of futility would teach you people to be humble.
