It gives odd dreams. I dreamed about taking a day off work. Unless I'm in the hospital or dead, I don't skip work. That would be like admitting defeat. Just like grabbing one of the death sticks would be defeat. Tonight, the wife and I went out with another couple. All of us were non-smokers. We looked down with disdain on those who smoked. We mocked them. Not really. That was another strange dream. You know what the really cool part of this drug is? I can drink and still be OK without a smoke.

How many days were you on it before you quit? I will admit I wanted to smoke less, but I set a goal at day 7, and just couldn't do it Congratulations to you!

By the time I quit (on tuesday) I was down to two smokes a day. Yesterday almost did me in. Today was no problem. I've decided to drink a shitload to see if drinking will make me want a smoke. So far so good.

I'm probably getting more nicotine now than ever. I've heard that Chantix really works. I hope it works for you. The patch gives me weird dreams too. I haven't smoked in 8 days. Yay me?

The family is claiming he went crazy while taking it. sigh I hate when families do this.

She's been smoking for about 40 years or so and is severly addicted.

I could run the math but even a Sucks forum poster can figure it out if he put his mind to it. KG, that smells like a trial lawyer along the lines of John Edwards trying to make a bunch of money of the drug maker. I have yet to kill anyone in the most recent ten years. Don't fuck with my drugs.

I think I'll call my doc on Monday I read you shouldn't use the patch or nicotine gum if using Chantix....are you cold turkey now? May every day get a little easier for you~ ETA: some insurance providers help cover the cost~ I paid 35.00 for the 4 week starter pack

I mean, I get a little anxious sometimes...after sex or eating, or when someone else smokes a cig, but nothing I can't get my mind off. So how long does it take to get full-on addicted? I'm sick of waiting.

I used the patch too--it gave me nightmares to the point where I took it off right before bed and put on a fresh one first thing in the morning. It worked better for me that way. Hang in there!
