wtf was up with that episode
usually I pre-record it and then watch it an hour or two later fast forwarding through commercials AND all the izzy-denny scenes but last night I was at my friend's house and had to watch it in LIVE TV HOW DO YOU PEOPLE DO IT? Tivo saves this show for me. I haven't heard Izzy speak in a month now thanks to fast forwarding |

Those black shrieking demons from "Ghost" need to come in and take Denny away and while they are at it they can take Izzie too.
I thought they were going to go in a different direction with Izzie earlier in the season that I thought would have been good. The way she butted heads with Hunt, I thought he would become her mentor and she would specialize in Trauma surgery. That would give her a specialty and it would end her ridicules tendency to become too attached to patients, because she wouldn't have any time with them prior to the surgery. |

I don't think trauma surgery would be right for Izzie because of the way she interacts with patients but it would have been nice to see her try something
like that.
I feel really bad for Alex. He's finally feeling really good, and isn't so angry and things are looking up for him and he loves Izzie and she's fucking a ghost. |

I thought it would be good for her because of the way she interacts with patients. Earlier in the season the chief specifically tried to get her to stop
becomign emotionally involved with her patients and trauma surgery would be perfect for that

It's nice that they showed plastics as more than facelifts and boob jobs too. I remember an episode where Mark said he helps people too when someone made a
comment about plastics. It's true he does. We've seen him give a boy ears, grow skin for a baby and give a woman back her voice. That's pretty
good.

Yes, they are on the same spectrum. However, Asperger's is a much milder form and the two syndromes actually have pretty different characteristics. What I
meant was, she seems to have more traits of "Classic Autism" than Asperger's. Sorry for not clarifying. ;) I have a relative with Asperger's
and it kind of offends me to see someone with this disability portrayed this way.

We've seen him give a boy ears Leading to one of my favorite Bailey lines ever: "For ears?! He's trick or treating for ears?!" Proof, you should just go ahead and read the spoiler, I really don't think it's going to make anything less moving or whatever. So, I'm confused. Does Izzy think Denny is really there or not? I would think yes, since she's talking to him and bragging about her great sex with him, but if she does think he's actually there wouldn't she have been alarmed when Alex came in and sat on him after Yang gave him the surgery? Fuck this stupid ass fucking storyline. |

I'm assuming she thinks he's real, but she knows other people can't see him and she doesn't want them to find out so she doesn't say
anything when someone like Alex sits on him. Obviously she's interacting with Denny the way she is because of the spoiler.

What pisses me off about the Dizzy storyline is this: are we gonna have to endure weeks of Izzy not wanting to be "cured" of her delusion?? and
when/if she is, are we gonna have to endure weeks of Izzy mourning the loss of Denny again? I'll be long gone from watching this show if that's
what's in store.

I have to admit, I teared up a little about the girl who's sister died in that car wreck. I guess you should never ever tell someone you wish they would
