It's not as if Callie treats George badly or anything or as if Izzie is like the greatest thing since sliced bread. She's clearly off her rocker, she's a bitch, she's a slutty homewrecker etc etc.

He's always been a loser. Didn't he kill someone in the first or second episode? I think they set him up as a lovable loser from the very start, and they have rarely ever veered from that path.

I have never liked her, always found her either fucking annoying or just decent, not anything better than that. I couldn't stand her in the premiere acting like a bitch to the Chief aka her superior just b/c she didn't get the job she wanted even though it went to a just as if not more qualified Callie. Ugh, I wanted to bitchslap her by the 30 minute mark. I don't have a problem w/ any GA storylines right now except for the Georgie/Izzy love one. I get that Georgie/Izzy/Callie is a great idea on paper but on a show where every sleeps and falls in love w/ everyone else, I was kind of hoping that this was one boy/girl pair that would go untouched. I liked them as friends and I feel like making them more limited future storylines and just ruined something good for the quick triangle storyline. * Randomness - Bailey is what, an R2? What is Callie b/c I don't think she had interns following her around last season? What is Bailey's specialty and when do Izzy/Alex/Christina/Merdeith have to choose theirs?

I'm worried they are getting ready to turn Callie into a love sick neglected wife who is inadequate in her career. I would be so disappointed. I hate George. His personality sucks, the storylines sucks and TR is not that great of an actor. I get Meredith (although there are times when she bugs) and I like her and Derek's struggle. I'm grossed out and uninterested in George and Izzie's struggle. I can't imagine why I'd care about a married man with a mopey personality and his tormented mistress. I loved what they did with the man who looked just like Burke and Christina's getting over the break up. It was a very nice touch. I'm meh about the sister and I think that story line is boring. I love that she told George to man up though. Did I mention that I hate him? eta: I think that while Callie may be great at what she does, I wouldn't say she was as qualified as Bailey to be Chief Resident. I could see her being a bit peeved and she's showing her disappointment in a way that seems in character. However, I think she will quickly get over it and return to being awesome. As much as she may love George she's never been the type to just crack and become helpless because a guy leaves her. It may be frustrating for her and even depressing but it would be so unlike the strong women, doesn't take shit from anyone character they've built her up to be to just break because George leaves her.

(Yes, it's really called general surgery and is about stomach, colon, liver, etc. That's why she's always pulling stuff out of people's stomachs)

They are all surgery thats at least for sure. I always get confused about what is suppose to happen after medical school and internship.

Alex was always trying to work with Sloan because he wanted to get into Plastic Surgery and he also worked with Addison who thought he did well working with the babies in her specialty. Izzie worked with Addison a lot of Addison thought she also had promise in that baby speciality, neo-natal sugery I guess. Christina is good at everything but I remember someone saying she excelled at Burke's specialty. Meredith sucks and I don't recall anyone ever saying she was good at anything in particular so maybe she'll go into general surgery.
