That's gonna be fun. I only saw the last stinkin half hour last night so will be catching the rerun tonight. Yaaaay. I still can't picture a Denise from Full House. There was the friend who went by her last name most of the time (DJ's friend). Did the others have friends? They don't show them on Nick at night.

I agree that its sad that Meredith's mom subjected her to such a horrific thing and the fact that it seems like the whole suicide attempt was all a cry for help to get the chief's attention just makes it doubly awful (seriously, that woman was ridiculously selfish and self absorbed if she could do something like that to her own daughter) but that still shouldn't give Meredith a get-out-of-jail-free card every time she does something wrong.

Poor George is going to have a complex. He had the tragic sex with Meredith, had bad sex with Izzy, and now Callie. I like Callie and Hahn together, but one thing does bother me. Now, Callie could be bisexual, but shows sometimes just feel the need to make a character gay without any real back story behind it. I get that there are people that live many years being very happy with the opposite sex, have one encounter with someone of the same sex, and realize that's what they're attracted to. However, when it's done on TV, it seems like they do it for the sake of having a gay character. It's how I somewhat felt when Willow was gay on Buffy. In the high school years, she was somewhat asexual in that she wasn't overtly sexy, flirty with guys, etc. She had her crush on Xander, and then had a great relationship with Oz. She meets Tara and they fall in love. Again, I know it happens, but it just seems like they do it to have a gay character. I didn't even realize that the girl with the tumor was Denise from Full House. I agree with your Callie comments. It's so contrived, imo, to make the show edgy or titillating. A strong chick like our Calliope would know her feelings. Furthermore, it kind of bugs me that the two non-hot (although I think Callie is gorgeous), bigger gals are the lesbians.

The chief has said to her - on numerous occasions - that he will be there for her as a promise to her mother to always look out for her. He is some what of a father figure to her. It's reasonable IMO that she would have, what I call 'daddy issues' with the chief. There will be times she loves him, hates him, acts out for his attention, disobeys him, and as we seen last night outright disrespects him. He even tolerates it as if she is part of his family. I was glad he told her that he didn't know about the suicide attempt and that regardless he is a good man. He knows he is thevillain in her story but he is a good man.

For as strong as she tries to appear, when it comes to love/relationships, she's awkward. Remember, she was the kid that ate her own hair. I think it would've been better if Callie had the storyline Hahn did. Hahn was jealous of Callie and McSteamy. They could've had Hahn start dating a woman, and Callie getting jealous. At first, it seems she's jealous because she's losing her best friend, but then she's confused about the real feelings. At least that would've built in a story a little more rather than just have her question a kiss and then fall for Hahn. And, Denise from Full House was one of Michelle's friends. I didn't watch that show for a reason. -Ava didn't die!! -Doctors letting two brain tumor teens have sex in the hospital?? What if one of them had a seizure? What if the partially paralyzed girl fell out of bed?? IRRESPONSIBLE. -Where the fuck did Meredith find all those fucking candles?? -The Callie/Hahn kiss felt very contrived. -Adele YAY! -Ava wasn't the brain tumor success story - woohoo! I thought he whole borderline thing fit nicely into the story. -Yang got her groove back. -Izzie wasn't that annoying. And I think her short hair looks hot. -Bailey has a nice revelation. -Meredith and Karev had good mommy revelations. -Overall, I loved this episode.

The look on Meredith's bitch face at the end got me thinking that they will be broken up by the second episode next season. He was right to break up with Rose first. Is it a little unrealistic that they would put a 2nd year resident incharge of a clinic?

She was talking about her being an extraordinary character who is interesting and entertaining and worth being the title character of Grey's Anatomy. Too bad she fails at that too. Loved the cement story and hated the "friends" who made the poor kid do that. Then again, he was an idiot to go along with it. I can't believe I remembered this. I knew It was her because she sounded exactly the same.

Ya know, from med school to SGH, they had to get in. Something made me think that when Derek said stay here, I'll be right back, that he was going to his trailer to use the phone to call Rose, which seemed weird, but was he really going to leave meredith there in the dark while he went to see Rose face to face. If I was Mer, i'd be like, no thanks, i'll chill in the bed till you get back, although if i was her, i'd already have his babies and the house, she sure knows how to screw things up, as i'm sure she will this time too. Next season i say Yang/Sloan, now there's a weird pairing - i'd love to see her fuck up his world.

I don't pay attention to commercials so much anymore since I usually watch shows via tivo and fast-forward. But last night I was watching in real time (and won't do that again -- so many breaks in the action!) and looked up and right after a scene with the poor kid in cement and explanations about how he could die there was a guy in cement and his friends joking around. It was for some car and how great it was and the final shot was the car pulling a cement mixer along.

I don't like her all needy and whiny. It looks like Lexi is going to be handed that role in the new season. I agree that Meridith looks at the chief as a father figure. I find their "fights" very believable and similar to father/daughter interaction.

Yeah I noticed that to, what great timing huh? Those t.ears looked pretty genuine too, none of that visine crap. I bet JC was thinking of all his 100 children getting kidnapped or something for that scene. I also thought that scene with him and Ava at the hospital was great too, especially the part where he says, "She's just going through a bad patch!
