It got a very good review in People (for what that's worth). I haven't read any others though. I'm excited to read it! |

I am on the waiting list at the library for this one. The last couple I have read haven't been that great... so I don't want to buy this one.

I prefer his short story collections. Always found his novels tedious. However he's still a better author than Dean FUCKING Koontz.
Silver Bullet is actually a cool graphic novel, as was Creepshow. |

They're delaying release to the kindle until Dec 24 so they can make more money on the hard cover sales - which is incredibly stupid because all the price
wars having the hard cover selling for the same fucking price as a kindle version. Ridiculous.

I'm reading The Stand for the first time, complete and uncut edition. 179 pages of slow but good and engaging build up. Then this "dark man"
who can "do magic" shows up and ruins everything. What a disappointment. At least the superhumans in The Postman had a realistic backstory. This
"walking dude" is just some baseless fluff which detracts from an otherwise enjoyable read. I'm hoping trashcan man will live up to his
promising entrance into the narrative and offset the irritant.
I've had an idea for a post-apocalyptic story bouncing around in my dome piece for a few years now which I've actually written a few pages of. I'd like to get back to it one day just so as myself and those close to me who like to read can enjoy a good story. It will be 100% realistic with no unnecessary, childish idiocy about some unidentified bad guy with the ability to levitate. |

Agreeance. The unedited version has this
great character called "the Kid". Trust me. On the other hand; "It" ended kinda badly. |

With blondie...I'm not sure what Flagg is
but he is utter wickedness is entertaining. I even liked him in the television mini series. "Truth tellers just hunker down." |
|||
Citizen Postal |
|||
I'm not sure what Flagg isRight there. Me no likey. Wicked is good, cruel and evil is fun to read, but I'd like to know who or what is being wicked, cruel and evil. "Dunno what it is but it gots MAGIC!" is petty and stupid from this reader's viewpoint. |
