ARMs like we were? I hear the Brits are in worse shape than we are in regards to inflated real estate prices and ARMs, are Canadians having trouble too?

NORWAY is the country with the biggest "Our economy is TOO good! Help us!" problem.
The problem is that the whole Norwegian economy is based on OIL. But not that many people work in the oil industry and in fact not too many WORK. The oil industry is nationalized so that the revenue is lovingly doled out, making Norway the next country for Merkyl to LOATHE. The krone has gone from 9 NOK = $1 US to 5.5! This makes imports so cheap that the govt has to slap massive tariffs on everything to try to keep every OTHER industry still in business, which can't sell DICK outside it's borders. (Isn't it good? Norwegian Wood. Yeah, but it's so fucking EXPENSIVE!) You've got BOOTLEGGERS running ciggies and liquor and MEAT into the country. So you've got this country with all this money, no work and nothing to buy except herring. |
