I followed most all of that trial, and actually made up an excuse to miss a family function so I could stay home for the verdict. Anybody remember the Mexican
housekeeper? What was her name, Rose something? Good times. I remember thinking by the time of the closing arguments that Marcia Clark & Chris Darden were
completely fucked and they knew it. Johnny Cochran looked radiant. Too bad he's not around now. What catchy rhyming slogan what he come up with for this
case?

I just can't believe that people never knew what a psycho this guy was until his wife turned up dead. But all I remember about him was how much people kissed his ass, and cast him in shitty Hollywood films.Not excusing it whatsoever, but OJ was the best running back of his time and maybe as graceful as anyone has been at the position. He's also good looking and articulate. He went to USC and was a big name before he went pro. He wasn't Michael Jordan, but he was one of the most visible athletes of his time. Men admired his athletic ability, women were attracted to him. Whites were willing to accept him, he was never controversial on the subject of race. So if he smacked his woman around - so what? He's OJ. |

I remember being in classroom when a bunch of Hispanics were jumping up and down that they found out he is not guitly. Staff were horrified that he was guilty.
My stance on OJ changed dramatically when Nicole's sister say something about Nicole's vagina being belong to OJ and only OJ.
Jury rigged for OJ. I wonder whatever happens to them. I know BobbyDawg said something about OJ earlier in his thread. |

Sorry Loki, I saw that. I guess what I was commenting on is some guy on CNN continues to use the 'just taking back our stuff' argument WITHOUT any
mention of that police haven't been helpful or that just wasn't an option like it is for, ya know, law-abiding folks. And even if that is the case,
wouldn't he have reported to the cops AFTER the fact that he recovered his own property, just to set the record straight. Or maybe he couldn't do
that as part of his undercover sting operation. |
