Posts: 679 (09/28/07 1:51 AM) Registered User Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	Well, here's the latest information for this race: 20 contestants 15 countries in 4 continents, covering 54000km Singapore team, Adrian Yap and Collin Low, the latter being the first hearing-impaired contestant in TAR history Hong Kong team, Aurelia and Sophie, the former being a Singaporean. They are "not exactly bosom buddies even before the race as Aurelia still blames the more serious Sophie for kicking her out of the apartment where they lived 2 years ago. The Amazing Race Asia 2 will premiere at the end of this year. --- Based on the picture provided, * There are no senior citizen teams again * There is at least one Filipino team (dark-skinnned) * There are at least 3 all-female teams * At least 2 male/male teams (including hearing-impaired Team Singapore) Source: Life! The Straits Time, 28th September 2007 **from an online source The contestants are pairs of: dancing mummies who travel together without their children for the first time since their birth; couples who have known each other from 2 to 13 years; reunited siblings; childhood friends; TV hosts; and the very first hearing-impaired contestant in The Amazing Race history, with his gym buddy who he has known for barely nine months. This and the product placement are the biggest impediments to TAR: Asia being truly awesome. Even Deirdre/Hillary, the only bad one, would probably be better than a 9-month gym-buddy and some TV hosts. dancing mummies FTW!

And since this is Sucks, from an article Monica is an actress who won the Miss Chinese International title in 1997, while event organiser Edwin has been nicknamed 'Drama King' by hisfriends. The pair are already calling themselves the 'Rob and Amber' of The Amazing Race Asia. Edwin and Monica have declared the teams from the first season of The Amazing Race Asia to be boring, adding they'll 'bring heat and excitement to the viewers' and make Season Two 'a better show'. What did I tell you about the mactors infestation? I already hate this couple with a burning passion. Shit >>> forced drama.
